  1. Sounds great. Let me figure out these other meetings tomorrow night, and I'd love to stop by hopefully around 7 or later. Just to get settled at home and eat dinner and whatnot.
  2. If your'e in CP I can meet wherever. I'm at Parmer/1431. I love seeing others tanks, so if your'e nearby I wouldn't mind delivering.
  3. I'll call you tomorrow when I get home to arrange a time. Shouldn't be a problem though.
  4. Peppermint shrimp 3 for $10. Not selling singles. These guys are all Xtra large and ready to take on your aiptasia or just be nice additions to your tanks. Most of these are almost 2"+ and FAT. I'd prefer to meet up at my work and sell them during the day, than to have to meet people at my house. But we can figure out a good time/place if during the day doesn't work for you. I work in the Arboretum area, and live in Cedar Park.
  5. Congrats! I cant wait to help add to the future members of ARC in June
  6. If you look at my thread you can see the original size of that anemone, about 12+" across when open, with a foot about 4" thick etc. He was sucked THROUGH the grates on a koralia 3, which I don't think are even 1/8" apart. Just 1" or so of him left outside of the powerhead. They can smashy smashy down pretty small when they want to get sucked through something.
  7. I have some aiptasia in my fuge as well. I have peppermints in the DT and have not seen an aiptasia in the DT in over 6 months, but I don't bother messing with the ones in the fuge. It just a few, if it was overflowing with them, I might reconsider.
  8. Check your powerheads. He'll be in one of them, or at least whats left of him will be. If you can get him out and put him in a breeder net, he might survive. http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/20019-rbta-vs-korallia
  9. Mine was like 22, got it in this morning, but John said he added me to the order.
  10. **** Stephen, that's horrible. Those were some beautiful fish, and from your threads it seemed like you were doing your absolute best to get them healthy and in your DT. Good cautionary tale for everyone else. Some people don't realize the fish we put in our tanks from the LFS are usually less than a month out of the ocean, and more likely just 1-2 weeks fresh caught if that. I wish I could have come out and seen them in person. Good luck on your next awesome/rare fish!
  11. When I kept a heater I had a Titanium one with a digital temp probe, connected to my reefkeeper with its temp probe for dual redundancy. I had the heater on one side of the tank, and the temp probe from the heater about midway down the tank. I then had the temp probe from the ReefKeeper on the opposite side of the tank. The RK was set to turn off that outlet if the tank reached over 78 degrees, the same temp the heater was set at. I've since got rid of the heater and never had any issues that I can contribute to temperature. My tank will get up to 82-84 sometimes in the summer, and when I forget to close my porch door in the winter down to 65-68.

    RBTA - 11-2011

FYI; The clown from the first picture is not the female at the top of this picture. Its the male hiding under the bottom left of the nem. He's barely 2" long.
  13. I'll be in for 20$ or so, I know its not much, but most of my crew from his black friday sale is still kickin it. I"m in Cedar Park.
  14. Speak for yourself grandpa. Welcome to the addiction Dragonman.
  15. Thankfully my gold stripe maroons are nice, since mommaclown is about 4" long and 2" tall. Her male though is only 2" long on a good day. I have a pair of false percs that the female is mean as can be, bites me everytime I stick my hand in the tank.
  16. From the album: Happy Tank

These guys are seriously fullgrown, the pistol is nearly 3" and the goby 4".
  17. Thanks Jake! We're considering the swing, but not sure its a necessity right now to spend money on. Also enjoyed getting to see your tank.
  18. I want that giant disc whatever it is. But get rid of the majanos as soon as you can.
  19. RCA has been getting them in pretty regularly, maybe every 2-3 weeks. He's had some really cool 5" babies, up to some really docile 1.5' long ones. Might give Jake a call and see if he can order you one.
  20. I'm still in for 25 or so. No hurry.
