Jon.Hanna
Hello All, My Name is Jon Hanna and I have started a 29 Gallon Saltwater tank and let me say I am addicted already. I find myself at the fish store almost every other day. I have started a couple post so far on this board and I have to say that everyone has been extremely helpful. So let me tell you a little about what I have so Far. 29 Gallon tank with standard hood and filter, lighting. About 28 lbs of Live Rock. One Fire Shrimp "Man Those things are pretty" One Emerald Crab One Peppermint Shrimp Handful of Blue Hermit Crabs and some Snails. 1 Scallop 1 Feather Duster And Last but not least a Clown Fish. I have a post in looking to buy for a couple of things that I am looking for to finish getting my tank started. Feel free to take a look. I am looking to in the future get a lighting set up so that I can ad some coral as well as a Bubble tip Anemone. I will post some pics soon. Thanks again for everyones help so far. pbnj
Welcome. BTW, I've read that those scallops don't typically last very long....hope you prove that wrong.
Laura
Welcome to ARC!! As far as the flame scallop is concerned, you can target feed them once a week...rotifers,brine,arctipods...they do need to be fed.

GKarshens
I kept a Flame Scallop for almost 2 years. I target fed mine phyto. The issue you may run into is you don't want to overdo it in such a small tank. Welcome to the club and the hobby.
