Isaac
my carpet anemone moved overnight next to this nice coral. he latched onto the backside of it so i was trying to wiggle it free.... guess i lost patience and riiip. Do these typically survive a tear or should I be on cleanup watch next couple days?
Clark
I don't know, but I'm crossing fingers for you!
jestep
Is it a maxi mini or a hadonni? In the case of the former, it will probably be ok. I'd keep a close watch if it's a hadonni. May survive if it stops moving, but a much lower chance if it can't settle down.
Isaac
it seems to have closed the torn gap and receeded so far, suppose I should check the "fragged" part eh
Isaac
"they" look ok, just receeded. altho, i dont think i know how these loo "bad"... lose the vibrancy maybe?
Isaac
So, the "big guy" seems happy and open. the "little guy" keeps moving around, cant find him this morning. Thankfully they survived, so far.

Isaac
SO, both parts have been hiding since around may. I saw the smaller one move around this last week (super pale, must have found a dark spot), and i think i spotted the larger one.. waiting on him to move. yay for patience! </s>
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Did you tear that anemone straight in half?
Isaac
was like 1/
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Did it split afterwards? I've heard of people manually cloning maxi minis, so it wouldn't surprise me if the anemone went ahead and split itself at the tear.
Isaac
no, seems both parts survived.
