Considering there are refractory and other compounds we can not test for, periodic water changes with new saltwater are recommended by all the scientists I've read. . . . readings dropped to 0.0 ppm. I wouldn't expect this to work with every high nitrate problem but it's worth a try.

Also some corals just don't do well in certain tanks. Acans don't like my 75g, yet trumpets and other LPS do.

I understand women better than corals. And I don't understand women.

Sometimes you have to drain the tank make the trap more effective
