I've got some new live rock a while ago from my LFS and didn't notice this on it when I got it. Whatever it is, its spreading fast. Should I be worried about it, I'm hoping its not the thing that sting your other corals. Help and what do I do about it.post-2816-140796699118_thumb.jpg

They look like Texas Trash Palys. The do grow at a very fast rate but don't bother other coral anymore than a zoa or other paly.

They go by nuclear holocaust pallys here in Colorado. Never the less they are weeds and will take over very quickly.

I would take them out of tank let them dry out. Soak the rock in bleach and leave it in the sun for 3 days after a good rinse.

I might even throw that rock in my sump after the just in case they do come back
