victoly Posted February 6, 2014 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Worked great in my old house, when I moved it worked for a while, but overtime the voltage thieving that it has to do to charge it's batteries was preventing the outdoor AC unit from functioning properly. Sold it I use a z-wave thermostat controllable via my security system (and iOS), but it doesnt have the scheduling and data tracking that the nest did. JamesL Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 You could still have a Nest, but you would need to have a "C" wire installed if the voltage sipping is causing problems.
