Hard to say, I didn't think medusa worms had anything on their sides. It kind of looks like a bristleworm, they can be various colors depending on the species. It wouldn't hurt to get rid of it at the very least.

Where do you typically find them? That can give a hint as to what it eats.

Looks like a bristle worm to me.

I have some that are this pale, yellowish-pink color.

kinda gross looking but I've never caught them acting up or eating anything that wasn't dead first.

Does the top have a frilly section? Have never seen a bristle worm with that, unless it's just something else in the photo.

It was really hard getting a good picture especially with an iphone but it was just a worm with little legs coming out. I've never seen a bristle worm that was white so I wasn't sure if I had a problem or not. Thanks for everyone's input.
