I use the gasserboy epoxy coated magnet, BRS reef saver rock, Ecotech Coral Glue, and a dremel to seat the magnet in the rock. Rock in the bottom picture is available for $10. I saw where it scratches off but they don't rust like the other magnets so I'm sure what your seeing is an extra coating if it looks silver. What do you think of the magnets?
