dc5842
I've been wanting to get into this hobby for years but the timing has never been quite right. I was going to start with a 55 gallon setup but a little research made me realize that the larger tank may prove to be a little more forgiving. I got a good deal on a 120g Oceanic and I'm in the process of saving up to purchase everything else I'll need (skimmer, sump, lights, live rock, sand, pretty much everything). I am super excited and can't wait to get the ball rolling on everything. If anyone has any kind of advice for beginners it would be much appreciated. I look forward to getting to know you all. muddybluewater
Welcome. Go slow, real slow, and ask questions here before you buy. It will save you a lot of money in the long run. We have all made mistakes and wasted money.

Gonzobob
Great advice from muddybluewater and vwmike. I'd add start simple and organize and prioritize the purchases that you really need to get started.
