judefish
I am looking to sell or donate my 250 gallon tank and all the wonderful accessories, corals, and livestock. I have contacted some hospitals in the Austin area with one possibility, but am looking for other ideas. Does anyone know of a business, doctor's office, school, library, institute, etc., etc., that might be interested? They would have to bear the cost of moving, but for a $15,000 system, that's not bad. So, any ideas would be appreciated. Maybe you would like to upgrade? I can be contacted at 512-863-9851 or [email protected].

Thanks for the suggestion. I think Kingfish Aquariums put one there, but I'll double check anyways.
+cyrus
Darnall Army Medical Center doesn't have one. You would be supporting your soldiers!
Robb in Austin
Dell has quite a few, all FW from the ones I saw. Of course, I'd really like to see at in my ICU's waiting room but thats just me being selfish.

NonSequitur
Not sure if the Army would allow it, but CRDAMC would be a great place for it, either that or Austin Lakes Hospital. Either place could use that sort of calming, peaceful influence. Darnall Army Medical Center doesn't have one. You would be supporting your soldiers! +cyrus
Yes I agree, I run the orthopedics department and the patients are often stressed, long waits some times combined with the army mentality can take it's toll on the families. Plus it's personally where my sanity is kept in check, our wounded warriors could be reminded there are calm places still in the world... Thought that a Doctor out there had paid Kingfish to install 3 large salt water aquariums over there before they opened. Maybe they decided salt was to much work? Wanna say his screen was mojo but that might be Fishy's buddy.
mdavis735
His first name was Mike. ARC had a meeting there when I first started Saltwater. Around two and a half years ago.

Robb in Austin
Mike, goes by dudester on RC and IIRC Mojo here, had Kingfish put in a giant one at his office. It's mighty impressive. Full of Deltec reef porn. But, from my one day at Dell, I only saw FW. All were in the 90g range. No idea who installed them or who maintains them. Here's a link to Mike's office tank: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1016111
