  15. Brian, you have constructed that stand since I was there Sunday? WOW The blond wood is beautiful. You will never go hungry. Can't wait to see the tank. Judith
  16. happy2.gif How generous of a offer is that. We can only hope that one day we will have enough members that maybe we won't be able to meet at a members house if 1/2 of us show up and need a fancy place. So the cards may come in handy. and it gets the word out that we accept donation!! We want to be thought of as a reef group that shares good accurate information, a club that will grow and bring in speakers and have workshop/demo like the one Brian is going to do and maybe we will become the responsible reef keepers that we want to be. Not just a place that swaps frag. A Austin reef club tried that before and went belly up. Card can also spread the word about us. Also at some point we might like to add a mission statement. Hey it might keep the rif-raff out. Judith
  17. John, One of the MARSH meeting they did a sand bed exchange. You bring a cup, it gets mixed up and you take a cup home. Do not know how often they do this. Any thoughts. judith
  18. I will be there. Thank you for hosting... What can I bring? Judith
  19. WOW! How about a free ticket in the pot for who ever hosts the meeting or however meeting it takes to compleat. This will make a great fund raiser and program. Thank you Brian/John for giving and teaching. judith
  20. John and Brian, I Found a stainless steel U-shape very sharp pin about 2'' long used by quilters that I pierced the base of a leather. I then glued downed the two pointed ends to disk that I could stand on edge in rock crevice. Looks good after a couple days. Who knows after a week. Dip pin, cutters, cutting board before I started. I think you have to frag. like you cook. clean, clean anyway that's what your demo inspired. Judith
  21. blob7.gif Joe, the meeting Rocked! What a great bunch of reefers. Brian and John excellent job. Thank you for all the frags that you guys brought. All the sharing and information that flowed.
