brett
Hi, The photo at vivid is beautiful (to me). http://www.vividaquariums.com/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=02-1421-10&Category=Coral%20And%20Invertebrates:Mushrooms&SortBy=Price Do they really look like this under typical lighting conditions? Fast/slow growing? Hardy/fragile? Best placement wrt lighting? If you'd like to share your thoughts and photos, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Brett
barderer
They are hardy and fast growing. The dots do not typically pop like that under normal lighting. The background color tends to dominate.

+dapettit
You will be pleased with anything you get from Vivid! But yes they are very hardy. I've tried killing them in my SPS tank and they just come back.

Timfish
It's been several years but I had a rock with 2 red polyps with green spots very similar to Vivid's. I couldn't ever get them to grow even though I had purple and green stripped reproducing just fine. Still puzzles me since they look like the same genus and expected them to do as well.
