JamesL
You might also call around to some of our sponsoring shops. I believe one or more has traps for rent/borrow.
Reybeast
I have one, but I live in Gtown, or I can bring it in to work tomorrow in Round Rock. Shoot me a PM
Robb in Austin
Not a fish trap but I caught an angel by counting on his gluttony once. Dropped the net in the tank and let it sit for 5 mins, sprinkled some food in the vicinity over the net, when he started chowing down, swooped him into the net from below as he pigged out. Dunno if it will work for you though. How big is he now?

JamesL
You might also try the mirror trick mentioned multiple times on this board. Put a mirror next to the tank, and when the tang tries to attack it's image, catch it with a net (might require 2 people ).
