  1. Ich is almost always present in our systems. It effects fish that are stressed from their environment. Sometimes from moving to a new tank or new tank mates. It can also be caused by changes in water parameters or temperature swings. My Purple Tang had it after he was in my tank for a few days. He showed no signs of ich when I bought him and I have not had a fish with ich in 5-6 years. I added garlic to the food and fed well for about 2 weeks, everything cleared up and he is doing well.

  2. I ordered and tried the 10k reeflux for 2 days. Yellow really isn't my color since I'm a fan of the blue so I'm sticking with the 12k. I could imagine though longer term that you would get great growth with that bulb.

You may want to give the 10K a little more time it takes about 100 hrs for them to reach their full k value. Might not be quite as yellow after that. jmho

  3. i will combine with you muddybluewater.i actually live 15 miles from gt,but go to gt everyday for work.what will we accomplish?save shipping????

Splitting shipping is all that we will save. Make sure that you signed up for the buy so that you will have prefered member status from here on. Let me know what you want.

  4. As above, add Di but if you are going to drink the water also, I would put a T in after the tank to go to the DI so that you don't drink the DI water. It is so pure that it will lower the amount of electrolytes in your body. You might want to add as second carbon filter before the Ro membrane.
