About anything would work from the overflow down. It is not under pressure that direction.

Coraline can be a pain to clean off the glass but it is good for the system. It works as a nutrient export as any other algae does. Yes it uses Ca, but that is out weighed by the benifits. I don't think it needs real strong lighting but does benifit from high Kh. I have it growing faster in my fuge with just a 23w cf daylight bulb from Homedepot than in my tank with 720w of light. You can use a razor to clean off the glass and even scrape some off your rocks to help it spread faster. I have been using 2 part for a long time with good coraline growth. I just set up a Ca reactor so I will see if it improves.

Generally yes, but you can still limit yourself with PC's.

Upgrade your light before you buy a nem. You should get 3-5 watts per gallon

Can I give you my $.46 at pick up?

I have mine in a reactor. I have not seen a big change in my corals but algae has slowed down. I have had it running since Thanksgiving.

Since the earth has actually been cooling for the last 15 years and all the global warming data has been proven to be fixed I think they will make it. The earth was much warmer in the middle ages and colder in between. Here is a chart that shows the change in sea levels for thousands of years. Our planet changes and life adapts.

that's a good idea considering how blind you are..!
Why are you so mean to your dad?

Natural sea water is 1.026, that is where I keep mine.

Well now you can see both sides

I am a custom home builder.
I need to update the web site bad. I haven't changed anything in 3 years

Bird's nest does not need real intense lighting. I had mine under PC's at one point and it grew fine. I keep it in the lower half of my tank with 250w mh

Let us know if we need those also.

Oh wait you said cuvette. I don' know.

Aqua Dome has salifert test kits. I think the Mg alone was 44 or 50 bucks
Many places sell indivual kits. I was refering to multiple tests packaged together. As for mag I buy mine from BRS but Epsom salt works fine and you can buy it at the dollar store. I have used ESV but Bulk Reef Supply is much cheaper.

Let it circulate for 24hrs before turning on the Co2. Make 1 adjustment at a time and let it go for 24hrs before retesting. I have only had mine running for a week but that was what I was told. I am sure people with more experience will chime in and I look forward to their responses.

The only place that I have seen kits for salifert is from ReefGeek, I think

If you are using purple up with out adding sodium bicarbonate (Kh) you are going to get out of balance. Purple up contains calcium. I have had several API test kits that were not accurate. Try salifert or elos tests, if you are using API. What are your numbers on the tests?
-
Yes there is green coraline. I would check mag and kh. If your mag gets too low your balance in Kh and Ca gets off. I personally think Purple up is a crock. You can get everything coraline needs from water changes. What kind of salt mix are you using? I know Oceanic is very high in Ca.

Why are you selling it?

The waste water is cleaner then the water you start with. It goes through 3 stages of filtration before it is waste water. It is not a problem at all

True and clear will get algae growth so you might want something like spa tubing that is white fairly stiff but some what flexable and you can glue it like PVC
