  1. Do not put copper in your display. I would start adding garlic to the food and feeding a little more heavy. this will usually strengthen the fish and they will pull through. If you want to medicate do so in a separate QT.

  2. Watch your Lps and softies and see how they react. If they seem OK then l would leave everything alone, if not redirect the flow. As a reference for flow I have about 4500 in my 120g.

  3. i may have to try this because i dont have a sump. are using you using this method or did you buy a setup.

I am using the BRS system with an Aqualifter on my sump and in my garage for my Ro/Di I bought a float switch from an A/C supply and a solenoid valve from AutoTopOff.com

  4. AutoTopOff is a good choice. BRS has an inexpensive 1 also. Another option would be going to a A/C supply house and buying 1 or 2 floats for about $9 each. You can easily wire them in to an extension cord or the cord for the pump. You can also use a bucket an some soft airline with a knot in it to control the flow rate (only let it drip slowly) and work off of a syphon. This could be done for a couple bucks.

  5. For your clean up crew I would add 50 Cerith( if dwarf then 100) and probably 10 more nassarius. Check your Po3 and Kh. I have found that if I keep my Kh above 11 dkh my Ph never dips below 8.3 and my sps are growing great.
