  1. Two days ago I had a lil' aiptasia genocide in my tank using Blue Vet Aiptasia Control, worked well with no adverse effects. Hope the Pep. works out for ya.
  2. Dave, It was really nice to meet you and your wife today. Yall have some amazing tanks, very inspiring. Thanks again for the jug! Brian
  3. Yeah my Goby thought I had served him a buffet. He was picking Dwarf Ceriths off the glass and the hermits off the rocks, anything that moved was fair game.He too has been at it for two days straight, it seems like most survive, but he looks kinda fat now.
  4. I think I saw a story about these on the news the other day. I may be wrong as I was working on homework during the story, but I think there are people who are upset about those being placed in the oceans. They were saying they are turning the sea into a cemetery. Pretty silly if you ask me since they are restoring damaged ecosystems.
  5. Not really that hard, but it is a pain. I resealed an old 29 gallon and it holds water just fine, the new seams look pretty bad though ( not acceptable for a display). If you do decide to redo the seams make sure you get the right silicone, GE Silicone I (the one without bioguard) or something specific to aquariums. The smell of curing silicone is really bad.
  6. I received evrything I ordered. Thank you again Robb.
  7. Yo Robb thanks for organizing this, I can only imagine what the shipment is going to look like.see y'all at 5. Brian
  8. I emailed him and he got back to me really quickly. Thanks yall
  9. Got my recommendations. Total came to $25.85. Thanks for organizing this Robb! Brian
  10. I have been searching the net for recommendations on a C.U.C. for my 29 gallon. The tank has some diatoms from when I moved the tank( and lost a fish ). All the levels are decent only nitrates <10ppm. There are 2 turbos, a large Goby and little rock anemone in there from the previous owner. I filled out the custom cleanup crew form at Reefcleaners.com, but have not heard back for while, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would love to throw down on the group buy. Thanks Brian
  11. I am pretty sure GSP stands for Green Star Polyp.
  12. There was a 24" Current USA posted on Craigslist earlier today, it was a 2x65 PC.
  13. Birthdays midweek do suck it always happens that way, but it does give you a good excuse to drink too much the weekend before... and after. Happy Birthday!
  14. The title says it all...Cruel but interesting
  15. Cool, thats kind of what I figured, but just wanted to make sure. All the parameters seem to be on point, minus the lighting, but the guy I purchased it from said it had been in there a long time under just the 65w of PC.Any suggestions on a specific food for it? Thanks for the advice everyone, much appreciated! -B
  16. So, I purchased a running saltwater aquarium off of Craigslist for $100, great deal to say the least. The tank came stocked with a Watchman Goby, Blue Damsel and a Rock Anemone ( or thats what they guy I bought it from said it was) and about 50-60lbs. of live rock. Got the tank home and set the live rock back up with the Anemone close to the top of the tank to optimize the 65W of PC that came with the tank, which I now think is insufficient for this little guy. Went to bed last night and everything seemed fine. Woke up this morning and much to my dismay the Anemone had dislodged itself from the rock and is now chillin in the sand bed( which is not deep at all, bare in some places). I tried to identify the Anemone with no luck and I don't know what to do at this point. Any suggestions, should I move him back up to the rock or closer to the top of the tank. Thanks for any help!
