So I am on vacation in South Florida and they have some AMAZING aquaria stores around here. My jaw dropped when I went in to a couple of these places when I saw the ammount of livestock they carried. They prices are pretty crazy as well, very nice Ricordias for like seven bux each for example. Needless to say I WANT I WANT I WANT, everything. My question is: How would coral and fish fare on a 21+ hour drive back to Texas? Also, how on earth would be the safest way to transport the livestock? I am kicking around possibly shipping things back if I need to, but would much rather spend the shipping costs on more goodies. Anyone have any insight on how things would do or any suggestions on packaging? Thanks in advance!

First off, Welcome to ARC! This is an awesome resource for the hobby. About the sump, I bought it a couple weeks ago from him when he was selling off everything. Watch the forums and you will be amazed at what you will find on here, I am sure another sump will come along shortly. Once again welcome!

Did someone get a Bubble Anemone from one of the last orders, vwmike perhaps? Just curious how they ship and if it ever made a recovery?

Gotta try to keep it local when ya can. I will probably try to pick some up next week just in case it is needed in the future.

I am pretty sure that the tank is a standard 29 gallon (30x18x12). I am going to be keeping mainly softies and possibly try some of the easier LPS and SPS in the future. I think the K3's may be a bit of overkill for my setup right now...unless I upgrade that is Thanks!

If you know the motor itself still works you can just buy a replacement impeller and save a couple dollars to put to another skimmer. Just google Red Sea Prizm replacement pump and it should bring up several options.

Looking for a couple good powerheads, new or used. Something with magnets preferably, let me know what you got and how much you want. Thanks
