Tim was a great friend and a good guy. He got me my first interceptor pill. He called me right before spring break to tank talk.. He was considering shuting his tank down but I told him to let it be. RIP Tim, Nam Mo A Di Da Phat.

great topic..... At 23 I was lost also with nothing.. Bumming off my girlfriend (now wife) meal ticket at Jester just to eat. Barely making it at UT almost quit but forced myself to finish with low GPA. I am now a ME going on 19yrs at Lithonia Lighting. I have design lighting for HPS, T12, MH, T5 and LEDs. My stuff is hung all over the place Lowe's, Home Depot, Empire State, toys r us. All I can say is enjoy life, hang in there, be good to your supporter, and do not feel bad if your job does not pay well. Just try to do the best you can and don't stress over $$ to much.

Nice tank Wizard-I need to come by and check it out. I would use 2x4s, 3/4 plywood top and 1/2 plywood sides. +1 Timfish to use screws for your build. I've got legs on mine so I can clean the bottom.

Cleaning up my tank and need to sell some stuff. All these are easy to take care of coral and will grow great in small/medium size tanks. Just buy the BRS calcium,mg and soda ash plus the aqualifter and the timers - you are set. I have mostly SPS in tank. My system dose from 5 gallon jugs. I just came back from NYC 10 day vacation with ZERO sps death (very happy about this) :D I lost a black clown but he probably got his axx kit by the other three clown.

Budget way: You can buy three Tom aqua lifter (12.00 each) one for KH, MG and CAL and put them on timers. One for KH,CAL and one for MG. Set them on 15min timers and adjust the drip rate w/ a connector. The timers can come on twice or three times a day to keep your level constant.

my 2 cents.. If going 400w is to add more punch, I would leave your cycle the same and cut back the T5s. Your tank is pretty deep compare to mine. If you are worry I would just back 30mins or so. By the way are you running 20Ks?

I had tihs custom made for our 60Gal cube. But now using 8L T5HO over the 60gal for more punch. If I remember right its probably a year old. This puppy will grow SPS over a 34 Solara. The design time alone was around 150.00. Some specs for ARC: 2L electronic Advance ballast 4l electronic Advance ballast 6L 24w T5 HO fixture powdercoated black finish polished aluminum shiny reflectors (will not rush if salt splashes on them) I think it has two cords one to control the 2L and one to control the 4L (but can't remember) thanks long -
NEM is SOLD - Thanks David. I am surprise no wants needs the Mohawk. Just need to get some of these out of my tank to make room for more corals. These are going for $10/head on the web. One site is selling 20 polyp for 75.00.

1)GTBA is getting to large for my tank. He is about 5-6in when fully open and very healthy $25.00. I am going to buy a smaller one for my clowns. 2) Mohawk paly colony 15+ paly $25.00. 3) 1.5" tall rose millipora (2), both w/ two branches each $15.00. I got two of these 2L T8 brand new in my garage made for outdoors with lamps and cord. I think the exterior is made from fiberglass w/ a clear lens. Bought last year for my patio but never hung it and probably never will $40.00 each and its yours.
