how do you get it to encrust? i have a nice piece that i believe is the same thing. its kind of a green color under the actinic lights. mine doesn't seem to stick down. do I need to glue it or something?

Is there anyone who lives south or central austin going to be picking up any of these. I would like about 3 or 4 but cant make it up that way. i work until 6 pm then have 2 dogs to go home and take out.

great looking corals. did you by the 8~9 " Big toadstool lether coral that big already or did it grow? i have one that large as well. mines more of a pickish or brown color. i like your white one.

So I know that people often ask for free stuff on here and it usually because of financial situations. Well I’m asking today for some help as well. I completed my Tax return last night and let me tell you. People work hard to make it and what does the Government keep doing? TAKE TAKE TAKE. Anyways, let’s just say that starting up the 120 gallon RR tank that I just got a great deal on is going to take longer then I thought. I have to pay back close to $1000.00. That’s right; I didn’t add the wrong amount of zeros there. Anyways, I was just looking to see if anyone had anything that they are not using that would help me out in starting up my new tank. I’m going to be sitting this thing up at the end of March after we move so live stuff wont work out right now. I was thinking more of like pumps, lighting, MH ballast, heaters, digital thermometers, timers, etc. Anything will help. I’ll pick it up and move it. so i successfully added both of my clown fish into the 29 gallon biocube. Now the problem is they are both hosting the brain coral and cauing it to stay closed up. This was not happening when the small clown was in there by himself. should i be worried or will the brain coral adjust with time to both of them being around it? Also, how do i remove coraline algae from the circulation pump? i got a used one and want to take all the old off before putting it in my tank.

I know that a fellow reefer not to long ago was fraging this and selling it. Well I was to late in trying to get a piece so I was wondering if anyone else had some they would be willing to frag, or if you were the one who bought some from the fellow reefer and could spare to let one go please let me know.

so i put the big one in the tank in a bag to float him and the little one keeps attacking the bag. should i be worried yet

Im not sure if there is a topic about this yet but I hope to get a few responses. I will be starting my 120 gallon long tank (72in L X 24in H X 18in W) once I move to San Antionio in about 3 months. I got a good deal on this set up (pictures will be added later) and it came with a 50 gallon tank to use as a refugium. I wanted to get some pictures and ideas from you all so that I can start to develop my own. THANKS

i have another question i was hoping you could help me with. Do I need to trim back the macro algae in the refugium? I know everyone does it but is it necessary?

Will this survive in my refugium? I have a lot of macro algae in there so I didnt know if it would eat it or if it wouldnt have enough room to move around. I should have done a little more research on it before i got it so I could have know it would eat the coralline algae.

Its funny that you said this becuase I tried the mirror on the outside of the tank (a fellow reefer told me I should try this to get the clown use to having another fish in there) and the smaller one was doing the sideways shaking thing. The larger one didnt do it. How do I know which one is male and which one is female? also will it matter if the small one turns out to be the female?
