So I finally convinced the hubby to let me sell this after going another month of not doing anything with it. There are some items that I have sold already and others that I will be keeping, so the list has changed a bit. You probably just need to scrub the rock down and it will be fine. I would like to sell this soon, but it's not a huge priority; I am not desperate for the money so please, no low-ball offers. The prices are already close to half of what we originally paid for it. Individual prices listed above or buy all of it and get a discount. Buyer must pick up. All items have very little use.

Yeah, mysticals are all gone, but if you want the xenia and watermelons, I think I can frag another bit of xenia for the same price and the large watermelon frag/mini colony is still available. Would you like that one? If not, I can frag it down in size and make it more like a 10 polyps frag for $25. Just let me know.

Sorry to hear about this, Brooks. We, too, would be willing to give you some frags of zoanthids when you are ready to repopulate. We have experienced a tank crash and it is very hard to go through. All the members are great people and you'll be surprised how fast you will get back to where you were before. Have fun on your trip and pm us when you get back in town.

I think I am going to frag some of my zoanthid colonies, tear down my 40 gallon and start it up again (major algea outbreak), move the fish from the 40 into our main tank, write a paper, read 7 chapters, and study for a test. Oh, and maybe try to RELAX and drink an ice cold Dos XX!

We wouldn't mind hosting the August meeting. The weekend of the 22nd would be best.

So far, so good. They opened up about an hour after I put them in my tank. Hopefully these will do better than the last ones. Thanks again for the frag!

Well, cr*p. One of them is already attached to the rock. Anyone know how to take it off with out hurting it too much? Now, I'll have to figure out a place on my sand bed, as all of my zoas are on my sand bed. A 55 gallon doesn't allow for a lot of room on the sand bed. As for lighting, we have two 175 watt 12k's. With our actinics, we are right at around 7 watts per gallon.

We were able to get our hands on a few nice mini acan colonies and they are doing very well in our tank. Another members posting raised the question - where are they supposed to be in your tank? I have ours up higher with good flow and a good amount of light but the other member had theirs on the sandbed and it apeared to be doing just fine. So, where does everyone have their acans at and have you tried different spots in your tank? If so, where there any dramatic differences in growth time or size of the polyp? Here are a couple pics of our acans. We got this one from River City last week: We got this one from Reef Kingdom Found this one on eBay and it was the first acan piece that we have had. It has grown from about 5 heads to well over 15. We got this one from Princer7 last week. It looks even better in person!

What are your water parameters? We had some before and they died, so I just want to compare and if they are similar, then I'll give them another try - just a two polyp frag.

From what the rep told me there, you will not be charged until the order is shipped so even the total won't show the buy one get one free, she will add it all up on Thursday and email you the final price, as she also has to add in the split up shipping and box fees. The buy one get one free pages are the australian acans and the wysiwyg pages. Anything on there is buy one get one free.
