  1. SOLD! Hey Dave and Robin! Thanks for the comment. I hope to get a new tank at the beginning of the year and will for sure be back on here when and if the time comes. Maybe it will be my Christmas present to myself.
  2. Hey Mark. I'm doing great! I miss having the tank but it's worked out for the best. I'll probably get another one at the beginning of the year. How's the tank doing?
  3. I have a Standard 75GDP RO/DI 5 Stage System that I bought from Bulk Reef Supply earlier this year. I haven't had a tank for a while so this has not been in use and when it was, only for about two months time on a 34 gallon Solana. I'd like to get $75 for it so let me know if you are interested. Here is the link from Bulk Reef Supply for more info: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/RO/DI-Filters-&-Systems-RO/DI-Systems/c9_10/p366/Standard-75GDP-RO/DI-5-Stage-System/product_info.html Thanks! Plumbing stuff

I have some left over plumping items that I would like to get out of my house. I have some elbow connectors, 45 degree connectors, a plastic ball valve, and some plastic tube piping. I don't know the exact names or sizes of everything, but it's all free so if you are interested, just pm and it's yours. Pictures below to show what I have.
  6. Any takers?!?! It's FREE!
  7. Yeah, I know it's gone around quite a bit but it works great for tank under 100 gallons.
  8. I have a Tunze Classic DOC Protein Skimmer 9205 and I'd like to get $125 for it. Come comes with everything except the hanging brackets, but you can just sit it in your sump. You may just have to raise it a bit depending on your water level. PM me if you are interested.
  9. Dual Overflow Box. Depending on the tear down of my tank goes, it will probably come with some plumbing too. I would like it gone NOW!
  10. is EXCITED about her new Solana!

  11. Free engineer goby, about 5" to 6" long. I emptied most of my tank tonight and I need to get him out of there before he gets too stressed out. Mhart032, if you see this and you still want him, please call or pm me. He is starting to gasp a lot and I need to get him into another tank. If you want him, pm me for contact info.
  12. Filling the Solana now and transferring all the corals over. Please pm me and let me know when those that bought items would like to come pick them up.
  13. Yes sir. Do you want me to paypal you the money?
  14. I'm not available until after 3... Can I meet you on Thursday instead? I can go ahead and paypal you the money.
  15. If #2 is still available, I'll take it. Can I come by tomorrow? I don't have school on Tuesdays, so it's the best day.
  16. So, I was able to get this one done today. I'm liking it so far but I think I need to add in a shelf or two. I just don't have the tools or the know how to make the necessary cuts.
  17. Still have the following: Dual Overflow Box $25 20 gallon sump/refugium $15 Tunze Classic DOC Protein Skimmer 9205 (does not have hanging brackets) $125 Macro Algae (3 or 4 different types) free with any purchase until gone Live Rock $1.50 per lb (about 20 or so lbs) All of this will be available after my other tank is set up, which will hopefully be by next weekend since RCA was out of power heads and I won't get them until Friday. I will not hold any items, so please either pay in full or provide a deposit. First come, first served. I can take payment by paypal if you can't pay me in person, but be sure to add 3% for the fees.
  18. I would definitely not use all the same sand. Maybe take and use about 5lbs or so, but just make sure to mix it in with the new sand. I would wait on adding the fish (maybe trade them in for credit at RCA) and use new water. The live rock would be fine as long as it doesn't have an excess of algae or aptasia/mahano anemones. When adding the corals, just be sure to have the temp of the water at around the same temp as the tank they are in now and be sure to drip aclimate them slowly over the course of at least an hour. I am not an expert, but during my moves from tank to tank, this has always seemed to work for me.
  19. I think I am going to see how two nanos do and later, maybe upgrade to a vortech as well. I got the tank in today and I am hoping to have the stand finished by Sunday. Do you all use the glass top? I've heard that having a glass top on the tank makes a big difference in the quality of light that is getting to the corals... Thanks for all the input. I am getting super excited about this new tank!
  20. I was thinking of get two to three koralia nano's. Do you think that will be good enough for flow? I am planning on keeping acans, zoas, favia, and some other lps.
  21. For some reason, I'm getting an error message when I try to send you a PM. My system is still up and running right now, so I wouldn't be able to hand over the sqwd until early next week, I hope. I am getting my new set up in today, so I am hoping to transfer everything over this weekend. If that is okay, just let me know and we'll work out the details. Also, it will probably come with some of the plumbing attached.
  22. Some people have asked questions about the calcium reactor, so here is more info and pics. Calcium Reactor is a Tunze 3174/3 and the CO2 tank is 10lbs with a JBJ Regulator. We never set this unit up, but we got the reactor from dapettit and the tank and regulator, we got from Jake at River City. The reactor is new and the tank and regulator are used but in good working order.
