  1. it is a 20g long with a skimmer that is rated at 55g with a built in carbon filtration pad. I did a 25% water change 2 weeks ago my next change will be a 5-10% on sunday.
  2. I thought it might be the skimmer as well it is filling the cup everyday. I clean the cup at night, and the entire system once a week. I am new to the hobby so I may not know if it is working the way it should. As for dosing now red slime just the reef minerals kit and purple teck.
  3. I noticed that other day that I have a yellowish tent to my tank. (everythig looks yellowish) I checked all of the levels, I am sistamatic with my water changes, I cleaned the glass to see if perhaps it was an algea bloom, basted all of the rocks to see if I had setiment on them. None of those seemed to have made any differance. I was just woderign if other people have experianced this and could lead me in th eright direction to correct it. Thank you everyone for all of the help that you offer on this forum. It would have been cotastrofic to get this tank going without the help of everyone here.
  4. Hey that was and act of nature. Who knew that gravity worked on perpetual motion. And to manually induce a siphon would cause in to keep going even if you want it to stop.
  5. lolololololololololololololololololololololoo watch out for that wave BRO
  6. Nice work young Watson. Did you take the thirty minutes to make my 2
  7. YES! Fried pickles are the best.
  8. I'm interested in the montipora and digi. When is a good time to pick it up? Available tomorrow evening?
  9. Yeah I like the clean no Hardware look. Bring those plans to work tomorrow so that I can check them out. thanks for the compliment. Having a coral reef is starting to turn you surfer with your primo lingo bro. I am gonna go and pick up something to cover the back of the glass this week. I left it bare so that I could check everything to make sure that it doesn't leak. I am getting ready to set up my SCWD too so I want to beable to see what it is doing. When all is done I will cover it.
  10. Yeah there is one spot on the back of the tank that I can't get the mag float through. The shape of the rock and the size of the tank disagreed. I can't take credit for the cave my wife did that one. Don't tell her but I like it too lol.
  11. Thank you for the complements I am gonna try and build a hood soon. Right now I just want to get the tank stable and stocked. I still have some tinkering to do with it so I don't want to have to pull the hood off and on.
  12. This is our 55g gallon put together today, sorry for the murky water had to do some aquascaping. Me and my wife build the stand last weekend. Just wanted to get some opinions to see if we need to go back in the garage.
  13. Thou fate has been spoken death to the stranger.
  14. This is about the best pick I can get with this cam. In the process of taking the picture we found 2 more. What shall be it's fate live or DIE!!
  15. ohh I will get pics tomorrow so that everyone can see. I wanted to get the aquascapeing done before I revealed the new tank. Hopefully someone can ID the thing.
  16. That is a shame it does look cool. I haven't been able to find anything similar on the web. I might risk it and see what it turns into. I will probably take cpt obviouses advise and move it to my qt tank to see what it does. I hope it turns to something beneficial doubt it though.
  17. We'll take some too if anyone can find it or has some!
  18. I just set up our 55g tonight. Got the live rock in and all of the hardware set up. Turned on the lights to see what was happening and to marvel at it's glory. My moment was destroyed by a encounter with about 10 Aiptasia. Luckily I just purchased a vial of Aiptasia control. With weapon in hand I went to work. 10 down 1 I am not sure about it doesn't look like the others. It is stark white with a neon green center. The body looks the same but the coloring is off. Is this the pesky Aiptasia or perhaps a mutation of it's counter part Majono. I tried to get picks of it but my shiaty 4 MP coolpix digicam couldn't get it. So my poetic description will have to do until I can get my other camera. Just wondering if anyone has seen any varmints fitting this description? KILL it or let it LIVE?
  19. Thanks for the heads up. We were able to pick up some good pieces today.
  20. If you still have some corals available, let me know. We can come by during the weekend and pick a few pieces up. Thanks.
  21. If you are willing to part it out, we would be interested in the protein skimmer or the whole sump set up. Let us know the asking price.
  22. In need of about 30 lbs of live rock. Please let us know if you have any and what the asking price is. Thanks!
