  1. I bought 2 of these MP40's thinking I would need them both to get a wave going in my 90G, but one has been more than enough, so I am selling one of them. I have a nice 1 inch wave on about 2/3rds power (it can get bigger too) and I have great flow in all areas. This can be seen when food is dropped into the tank, it literally goes everywhere easily (I would be happy to demonstrate this). This MP40 was made in July 2010 and I bought it brand new. I have the box and all items that come with it. I used it for about a week or so.

I am asking 400 firm, cash only and no trades. As you can se in the link below, the unit sells for 445 at marine depot. This will be first come first served ( I will be out of town this weekend though)

  2. the mp10s were on a ~20g, and the 40's were on a ~58gallon. We'll know more when i put the mp40s on my 90G this weekend. I'll take pics/ video to add fuel to the mp vs wavebox fire. i forgot to mention, I got a picture with Nichelle Nichols (Lt Uhura from original Star Trek). She happened to be at that hotel for some reason.

  3. Not to brag, but the wife and I had a very good time at MACNA (didnt win anything in the raffle though)dry.gif . But we got to talk to all kinds of folks and vendors and got a lot of freebies! I can say I did score (2) MP40's with controllers for a VERY good price. Havnt installed them yet due to fears that I'll crank them up and the wave will grow while I am away. btw, they also had an MP60 running, its pretty good size, but was moving the water very well. I was really impressed with the (2) Mp10s they had in a tank (P9040087), the water was literally flexing up and down in the center, it was quite odd to see. The MP40s they had in the tank were also making one heck of a wave ,see p9040085 and P9040086, the two pics were taken a few seconds apart. Notice the distance the water has dropped on the left end of the tank. There was also a great dinner buffet on the first night and an excellent dinner on the second night. I would say everything was done very well, no problems and I would go again in a heartbeat. Macna 2011 is supposed to be in Iowa though, dont know about that. Attached some pics. btw, they gave away a 300G marine land tank (among others) with everything you could want, (delivered to the winner's house!).

  4. I have a black oak oceanic 90g canopy with 6 T5's in it, it is wired to a workhorse 5 ballast and an icecap 430 ballast. I think the icecap is done, but the workhorse was hardly used. I do have pictures, but am traveling until Sunday. Cost? Unk. At this time, but we can work something out.

  5. thats interesting, mine was sucked into the Tunze as well! We came home and he was a blob stuck to the side of the Tunze. I powered off the Tunze, pulled the grill off the Tunze and left it sitting on the sand with the imbedded Anemonie. A few hours later, the blob was reforming itself and today is healthy and happy.

  6. Not trying to bash anyone here, but has anyone been able to get hold of the Kingfish folks? I have left voice mails and sent the online forms, and recvd no response. Are they still in existence?
