  1. Need the real estate so I am having to sell a few things. I have one GBTA that is approx. 4 inches across that I would like $40 for. I also have a blue tuxedo urchin that I would like $15 for. Both are very healthy and eating well. I will also entertain interesting offers of coral or equipment, specifically a phospan reactor.
  2. I'll take the phosban reactor. Pump included and tubing included?
  3. No it doesn't. He is currently using the 40G sump for his main display and is also using the stand. This is for the tank only. This is a nice tank for a good price.

    72 Bow Front Tank

I might be interested. How much?
  5. Looks great...I have been very impressed with the results from the MP20 that I added to my Solana
  6. $600 for just the livestock or $600 for equipment and livestock?

    aquarium repair

hmm...that's a good idea, but I am not sure it would work since the corners of the glass are missing and not just cracked
  8. I found an aquarium I want to but, but the catch is that it was dropped on the front side and now the bottom pane is chipped on both corners. I believe it is all cosmetic as it still holds water, but I am not sure I want to take the chance. Does anyone know how to effectively replace a pane of glass on an aquarium, or does anyone know of someone that does this on the side? Also, does anyone have any ideas how to reinforce the corners to make sure I don't have a blowout? I appreciate any ideas as I really like the aquarium and am hoping to make it work.
  9. Sure come on by and pick one up. Also, Since I am giving this away I am not going to hold this for anyone. It is going to be a first come first serve basis. I have had several PMs about this, and I wish I could facilitate everyone, but obviously I am limited on frags. I won't be available until Thursday evening and all day Friday for pick up.
  10. Just about anything other than softies. LMK what you got. Either way you are welcome to a frag.
  11. My devil's hand leather has gone nuts recently and has been kicking off quarter size clones. Needless to say I don't need leathers popping up all over my tank, and I don't want to throw them away either. So I have decided to give them away. I have approx. five frags that are free to any takers. These are free, but if you want to kick a frag my way I won't have any problem accepting. That is up to you though, I just need them gone so come and get them. This a great coral for beginners, and does reasonably well under just about any lights. Obviously, this is a FTS, but you can at least see what it looks like.
  12. Agreed those are beautiful and a great pic. What are they? Have any frags?
  13. I would like the second largest. I'll send a PM.
  14. As far as fish suicide, I currently have a rimless Solana that I have lost 4 fish from jumping. I finally went to HD and bought angle trim and some bird netting. I glued the whole thing together and it looks pretty good, and better yet I haven't lost a fish since.
  15. AGE has a new 90G coming out that I think is 36x24x24. Starphire glass on the front three panels, acrylic bottom, Calflo overflow. Sounds like an awesome tank, but it is not cheap. I just talked to Kingfish and they quoted me around $850 just for the tank.
  16. Have you decided on a skimmer yet?
  17. Unfortunately not....well not anything involved with aquariums anyways. I definitely thought about it, but just couldn't think of anyway to keep them alive or get them through customs. +1 again for renting. Just make sure it is quality before you take off, otherwise you will be clearing your mask every 2 minutes.
  18. It was very nice, but as always it was difficult to come home. The camera was an Olympus Stylus850SW. It is a neat little camera that I picked up at Sam's. It says it is waterproof to 10 ft, but I took it down to 30 on this trip with no problems, drop proof from 5 feet, and freezeproof. We purchased this camera as our "childproof" camera, so that hopefully our kids can learn to use it without tearing it up. I guess it is only a cheap camera in comparison to what I have spent on my Canons.
  19. Can't really tell from the photos, but from what I can see it looks more like a wound than ich. Anyway to get a better photo of the white section? Or, could you describe what it looks like in more detail? Also, is the tang showing any other signs of disease, other than rubbing? If it is ich it is better to leave the fish in the tank and try to find the issue that is causing the fish to be stressed.
  20. Not the best photos, but I thought I would share anyways. All photos were taken with a cheap waterproof Olympus point-n-shoot.

    Friend or Foe

Sounds like a sea hare to me. If so, they are pretty harmless, and I believe can actually be pretty beneficial if you have any algae problems. Did it look like this?
  22. Same here. I would take it if I were able to drill it.
  23. I didn't get it either. I went out to his place to get it, but when I got to the gate I couldn't get a hold of him. Then he sold it to someone in SA. So now I am looking at this tank as well
