So far It's all good. I have to empty and clean my skimmer cup twice a week. I'm skimming very dry and pulling out mondo nasty stuff. The water never looked clearer. I have a scratch on my tank I've never noticed. I guess you could put that down as a negative. Everything and I mean everything looks better. My chalices my sps my zoas. I'm super happy with the product. Aquacave made me a deal and I have enough for the next two years.

Two tangs in a 30 gallon and you think he's got a year before he runs out of room? Really? My bad I'm sorry. I hope everything works out I do but this is a hobby where what you do affects the lives of things. You should want to put them in the best situation possible. I doubt you read anywhere that it would be ok to keep a, single, uno, one tang in a 30 gal much less two. I just think that responsible reef keeping should be practiced and not just a slogan. But hey that's just me.

There are a couple of skimmers that should fit your tank well in the for sale hardware section

test or get your water tested. Once you know where your params are It'll be the map of what needs to be done. I wouldn't go to sugar sand, it blows around and becomes a pain. Just ask Chad and Belinda. I would start with 1-3 and see where that gets you.

I'm confused. You read up and know everything but aren't doing any of the things that lead to a healthy happy tank. You're stocking, no make that overstocking a tank that hasn't had a chance to cycle and want people to say what? Atta boy way to go? I hope you have deep pockets.

I have a couple of good sized rocks covered with neon gsp and a couple of rocks covered with a type of xenia that looks like gsp only a mauve color. Anyone want to trade?

Reef Octopus NW-110 2010. I love the thing, it works like a beast even installed wrong.

My reef octo skimmer has been a beast from day 1. It's skimmed awesomly. I just did some maintenance on it and found out I didn't have a riser tube pushed in all the way. I had to dial it way down. NICE!!!!!!!

Started the vertex pellets on the 12th, had a little trouble getting a good tumble with my tlf reactor. Bigger pump fixed the problem. Day 2-3 water was cloudy, Day 4 crystal clear and no I repeat no algae on glass. I'm excited.
