haha yeah i took your advice ive been going to aquatek and taking advantage of the byob there. the only problem is i burn through alk so id like to grab a few more bottles to get filled up when im in there instead of coming back every two weeks for 16oz. anyway lmk if anyone may have any theyre throwing out

ive been doing vsv for a while now. ive seen color and growth.ive heard that vsv is a little more risky than vodka. just make sure if you do either that you follow dosing instructions to a T. ive been using the glassbox method and its been working out well.

agreed mike... i love aquadome. i remember going there when i was way younger. my dad would always take me and my brother. there service and prices are outstanding. i dont mind the drive from north austin out there cause i know theyll always have something worth the drive. i remember when i was going to the lfs to get my dwarf lion. i must have drove different lfs 5 times. it made it that much more woth it when i found him though

prolly just gonna stick with standard florescent bulb. its a small tank dont wanna go to crazy. my gf really doesnt really even care for me to set it up. its more for me to have something to look after there, and hopefully get her to take an interest in the hobby. maybe with it being at her place and being hers shell come around. we will see.

in my quest to get my girlfriend in to the hobby im thinking of setting up a tank in her new apt. nothing to crazy just a small 25 gallon with some shrooms and a pair of clowns. i dont want to go to crazy just some rock and maybe some shrooms. so my question is what if anything can be kept under standard florecents. i dont wanna drop alota cash to get it together cause i have mostly everything around the house. so im trying to avoid buying a crazy light set up.

you cant walk on it anymore its roped off. they did that cause the scratches and because the animal rights people were saying it was cruel to have people walinking over the tank.
