yeah brine is pretty useless i used it to ween my leopard from live brine to frozen brine to frozen mysis. Now he eats any and everything. pelets nori krill hes a pig. the pe mysis is supposed to be some of the better mysis. i just dunno if its a good enough diet for the lion

well a few months ago i decided that i wanted to acquire a fuzzy dwarf lion. i read and read for weeks about how picky they were when it came to feeding, but decided to try my luck anyway. I figured after what i went through with my leopard wrase, surely id be able to get the lion to adapt. For weeks i fed only live ghost shrimp which was a huge pain driving to the lfs every week to get live shrimp and then housing them. I then got him to start eating dead ghost shrimp soaked in zoe. I soaked them in zoe to help supplement the nutrients the ghost shrimp were lacking. Yesterday after about 2 months of dead ghost i bought some P.E mysis because theyre larger than most standard mysis cubes and theyre packed with protien. As soon as i droped them in he went right after them! im glad to finally be able to lay off the ghost shrimp. id like to ask now will this guy be ok on mysis or should i get him on the krill and silversides now? any input is valued thanks for reading.

my girlfriend is setting a small 20g tank and shes looking for an hob fuge and skimmer lmk if anyone has one of the two or both. were not looking for anything fancy maybe one of the cheap red sea skimmers and a cpr fuge. also well need some good pcs or a small t5 light as well maybe even a clip on halide for a good price. its gonna be a lightly stocked tank with maybe a nem and softies so id perfer pc or t5. lmk if any of you guys have anything for sale thanks

ive got a build up of brown gunk in my fuge, should i throw some snails in there or just leave it. should i be cleaning my fuge at all. i have some calurpa and cheato in there thats pretty much it. ive got a sponge between the baffles that i clean once a week. what else should i do. it looks pretty dirty in there.

its for two 54w t5s... it may be too small. thats the problem i have now. the lights come on for about 2 seconds then shut off cause the ballast cant power them
