Hoping for what? What are you tryin to find?

I have a Sony Alpha 300. I want a decent lens FOR FREE!!! LOL! Ok or for a decent price. I dont have a clue what Im looking for. I know they are **** expensive! I heard that Minolta lens will work with the new Sony's. As far as all the numbers and spec I know nothing. What do I need to look for to take good macro shots in a aquarium? The lens I have now came with the camera. Its a 3.5-5.6/18-70. I have been told what the numbers mean in the past, but to be honest I didnt understand. What it all boils down to is I want to when 1 of these dang photo contest! LOL! Some of the best shots I have ever seen came from Princer7! They are just amazing! I know equipment is a huge part of a good photo, but I also know a photo editing program goes along way.... Thanks Dustin

I agree the free/trade section rocks! I have gotten some stuff from it! I dont believe that its right to go post a thread asking for frags or equipment for free. If someone feels the need to give it away for free they will post in that section. Otherwise begging and "pitty me" post I feel should be deleted! Now for the other side. If some has a tank crash and has been a contributing member and helped out others I will glady help them get there tank going again!

I was there Sat. Shane is a great guy! Its is super clean!!! He told me the corals will be coming this week and more next week.... Also he has VHO bulbs INSTOCK!!!!! This is the only place I have found them! He also carries a few ballast for PC's and T5's.

My RO/DI is one of the hardest working pieces of equipment in the house!!! LOL! Matt I think 1 lumenarc with 250w MH with T5 actinics would be plenty for your tank....
