Sorry about that. You are right, I was thinking about IceCap's dimmable VHO ballasts. The dimmable MH ballast is the knob on the side.

I have CoralVue and IceCap are definitely brighter. I have the two side-by-side with the same bulbs and there is a definitely difference. As far as the dimmable one, that one will only work the dimmable part with a certain controller, one that I had heard of before and not any of the well known ones (like profilux, reefkeeper, autonautica, etc.). When I get a few hundred to spare I plan on buying another icecap and just keep the coralvue as a spare for back-up.

I'm good for some stuff. How much and what depends how how close we get to the thresholds. I'll be watching. I'm good for at least some zoos ($19.99) and maybe some SPS.

Krylon Fusion is used to paint PVC. However, I still would not paint ANY PVC (i.e immersed in salt water)that would come in to contact with salt water, much less "inside" the tank.

Mine has a deep blue base and pink polyps. Where did you get yours from?

Versace,
They look great! Where did you get him? I recently got two and really would like to get some more (like I need something else I want more of ).

Mitch,
Just saw your post. Thanks for the offer but it wasn't anything major.
To Mike, Bill B, and Derry, the order arrived tonight. PM me or give me a call about arranging pickup. I will be around tomorrow and for the most part this weekend.

I'm looking at it now. He has some very nice stuff. Wish those Yuma's weren't quiet so high

If we have already submittedour order, but wanted to add something, is there a way to do that online, or would I need to call?
Stephen

Aqua sd? Is that local or online?

Mike,
Where did you get them from?

Are the colors that vibrant in the tank? Where did you get them? I recently got two yuma's that are deep blue with orange polyps. They are the first two yumas (although I have lots of ric's) I have ever had. I really like the yuma's and want to get more.

Mike,
Are #1 and #2 Ricordea's?

I would agree with offroaddodge. More of everything $$ wise, and of course WCs take a little longer because of the increased volume. A little more glass cleaning simply because there is more glass. Other than that, most everything for me is about the same with my 200 as it was with my 90.

Yes, Kingfish. You should get one so I'm not the only person in Austin with an Elos tank

Glad to hear the palys are behaving themselves. Yes, I have a lot of those little brittle stars. I'm curious about the worm now, especially if it wasn't a bristle worm.
That's why this is such a good hobby, there is something for almost everyone.
Keep us updated on the SPS and how it grows.

Yes, as Gabriel said it will eventually grow branches. In fact if it does grow (as its looking like it will) I would appreciate a frag some day. The one I broke off was having issues when I broke it off the rock, and its still iffy, if it will ever come fully back. Sometimes it seems best to start over from a new frag.
BTW, how are the blue palys doing?

Did this get sold? If not, what is the diameter of the cylinders?
Stephen

Is that from the rock I traded you? If so, I think its a Miami Orchird I got from Matt at Austin Aqua Farm back he he first started.

Thanks for the explanation. I understand now.
Anyone want to buddy up? What is the threshold to hit the shipping break?
Stephen

So I guess I still don't understand how this works. Do we go on BRS individually and make our orders? Is there some code we use to got the discounts? How long do we have to submit the order?
Stephen

Did you get me as well? What is the deadline again on getting the order in?
Stephen

Yes, we would hate to see you go!
