here are a couple of shots of my tank.i am no good at full tank shots.its an oceanic 92 gallon corner tank.it has an electronic tunze powerhead,a koralia 3 and a maxijet 1200.a neptune aquacontroller jr.tunze osmolator auto top off.a korallin c1502 calcium reactor.oceanic model 2 sump with eheim 1250 return pump.deltec turbo skimmer 1250.2-two little fishies reactors(1 with carbon and one with phosphate material).the lighting at the moment is a small 250 watt de pendant with a hamilton 14k bulb.actinics are 2-2 bulb 24 inch t5 fixtures.each has 1 uri super actinic and 1 geisemann actinic plus.

i'll have to try that gabe.we went to san pedro snorkeling yesterday.that was awesome.we are gonna go on an airboat ride either this evening or tomorrow morning before i go home.we recorded the flight from belize city to san pedro.including take off and landing on a 14 passenger plane.if i can get the videos small enough i will upload them somewhere and post the link.it was pretty cool

thanks for the compliments.it is beatiful here.as far as heat. . . . i dont think it was as hot as it is in austin right now.way way more humid.it was a monster to climb the steps to the top of that thing.tomorrow morning we are going to Ambergris Caye.we will be snorkeling.should be fun.cindy it is just me.i came to help my brother do a networking job here.also i brought some switches for the job.i am sure you saw heather.she stayed with my bro and sis in law one day

i was messing with my camera again.so i thought i would document some pics of a few of my new corals. my blue hornets have almost doubled since i bought them a few weeks ago here is a pic of the blue tenuis i have had a few weeks as well i got this oregon tort last week. and last but not least a couple of shots of the ora red planet i picked up last week

i had an old coralife 24 gpd unit that did not have a flow restrictor.i dont know how or why but it didnt.both the 75 gpd and 100gpd membranes i have had one and i would assume to change to a different flow rate membrane you would need to change it.it was a white platic tube with male fittings on each end.it has a valve on it to turn either to make water or if you open it it flows fast from the waste tube "flushing" the membrane.

i am pretty sure that is all you would need to do.just change the flow restrictor and the membrane.one thing to keep in mind before going too high is that from what i have heard the less gpd ones have a higher rejection rate than the more gpd ones.

i finally got some decent pics of the zoa frag.it is the actual frag.some of the polyps arent open because i just moved it.they take awhile to open back up sometimes.i will take $25 and there were at least 30 polyps.that is less than a dollar a polyp.i will try to get some actinic shots tonight.i have a hard time getting decent pics,but these things look great in actinic lighting.

that picture of the zoas is awfull.i am trying to get a better one.i think they might actually be blow pop zoas.they look awesome and really really "pop" in actinic lighting.
