i would have to say kh.that is way on the low end of the chart.i run mine between 10-11 and if it drops below that the very first sign is less polyp extension and color looking off.as long as you are not dosing carbon i would say slowly raise the alk.if for no other reason then to get it at least in the mid accepatable range.where you are now if you have a drop for any reason there is not much tolerance room.just my opinion.

i dont have anything that small,but i have a 10 gallon i could loan you.or petsmart and petco sell small little 1 or 2 gallon tanks that look just like a regular sized one.

You might resaearch it a little better to make sure.i am using my cellphone so its hard to tell,but it appears you will have to buy the adapter.mine came with it though so make sure.

no i bought a 1 inch frag from J_G over a year ago.when i changed from my 55 to the 92 corner tank i broke the frag off the plug and lost it.i had heard of colonies growing from a single polyp so i saved the plug with the glue on it.at that time it looked like just a frag plug with glue.i could see no signs of a polyp or anything.now it is a softball sized colony in just over a year.i didnt know you had pink jade.i guess i should check out your tank again sometime.lol

I have some frags of Tubs Pink Jade for sale.they have been mounted for a couple of months and fully encrusted the frag plug.i mounted 1 vertical and 2 horizontal.Now that they have a good base they are starting to grow up.They will grow very fast in the right conditions and are a nice addition to a reef tank.I am asking $35 each for them.

when i had pc lighting i used coralife bulbs(not for 6 years),but they worked great for me.

you could also travel 183 to brownwood.then pickup hwy 84 just west of brownwood in coleman(i think).then take 84 all the way through lubbock then on through clovis new mexico.84 crosses i 40 in santa clara nm which is just west of albuquerque.it is about 6.5 hours to lubbock with minimal stopping.it looks as if lubbock is a little over halfway.so i would say between 10 and 12 hours going that way.
