Looking good Mike. I am also at the 1 month mark with the basic 4 and really happy with the results. I am thinking about adding a few things as well. Any recommendations?

I would go with the T-5 for less heat. Unless you are planning on buying a chiller, then I would go MH. I like the look of MH, but the heat is a big issue in small tanks.

I agree, that would be a great light for a 30/40 gal.

I would try and go for the 6 bulb t-5, if not, probably the 250 with a chiller.

Looking good. I might start looking into a chiller. With a closed top and metal halide, I think you may have some heat issues.

This thing is basically brand new. It would work great on a small tank. Cant be beat for the price. Pulls great skim out, and super compact. May be interested in interesting coral trades.
