Thanks Mark and Mike. How did the treatments effect your LPS? And also, did you have high nitrates before you started, and if so, did they spike during the beginning phases of dosing?

I also have a 29 gal tank and not interested in setting up a reactor, so specific info on nanos will help me out. But please respond with all experiences, and results.

Well I am still trying to wrap my head around this, and learn about some of the products and how to use them. I have seen some amazing tanks lately with beautiful colors and amazing water clarity, and am sold. If someone has some info and experience using Zeovit and polyplab as well as otherl products, I would love to read about it. Hopefully it will help a lot of people out.

I think cleaner shrimp are awesome and help out as well. Really cool to watch them pick of parasites from your fish.

Not to freak you out, but I have disturbed a CC bed that I decided to leave in the tank during a move....every thing seemed fine until the 4th day. Then BLOOOM... water went brown, fish died, lost a good bit of coral. I would be very careful, and be prepared to do major water changes if you need to. With that said, the tank looks great, and I hope that you avoid any problems!

I am super paranoid on this. I have done it in the past with bad results. I would transfer everything to a holding tank first. Then remove the sand from your tank. Rinse the new sand until the water is clean. Then let it dry a while spread out in the sun. Then put it in the new tank, and add back your LR and livestock. That's just me though.
