Some more items for sale. I haven't seen my mom in 4yrs so this trip means a lot to me. I went to zoaid.com to try to figure out what I've got for zoas. Some I've found similar listings for, one I'm certain of, others...who knows. I'm going to do my best at pricing...trying to be fair. 1. Kedd Redd - looks exactly like the ones on the site. I can do 2 frags of 5 polyps (maybe a couple small ones included depending on how fragging goes) for $20each or 1 of 10+ for $30. (pending mama) 2. Dragon Eyes was the best match (1st pic on their site). Bright green skirts and almost entire center a lighter orange color. Frag is a little shaded from the light in this pic, but you can see them nicely in the last photo on the rock. I can do 2 frags of 5 for $15. 3. Radioactive Dragon Eyes. Bright green skirts and neon green centers. I have 1 frag of 6 for $15. (pending Gonzobob) 4. Bam Bam Orange was the closest (1st pic on their site). Orange skirts with almost a hot pink center. I have 1 frag of 6 for $15. (pending mama) 5. Bright green skirts with orange mouths (not entire center). 1 frag of 6 for $15 (plus a couple single polyp pieces) (pending mama) 6. Last one has 3 polyps...one resembes Alpha and Omega and the other two have redish/orangish skirts with the same color center and longer lashes. $10. The above really pop under the 14K Phoenix bulb and actinics!!! 7. This last one I'm not sure what it is. It has an orangish/brown skirt...longer lashes, a peachish center with some speckles between the peach and the skirts. I can make about 4 frags of 10 for $20 each. There are other ones that have brown skirts and orangish centers that I can make 2 frags of 10 for $20 each. 8. Steve's Hybrid Euph. - just got a large colony that broke into two pieces. I can do $10/head or 2 heads for $15. I have six heads available. Last image is of the rock that has most of the above on it...under actinics only. I can meet around noon at RCA on Saturday....or you're welcome to come out to my place in Cedar Creek (11 miles past the airport just off HWY 71). Dena

I just came back to the puter because I realized I didn't put prices for those. I was thinking $30 for the 5.5lb one and $40 for the smaller one with more corals. Will entertain offers though. Plane ticket for mom costs $340...so I've got a ways to go. Dena

The tank doesn't come with the sand or rock either. I can throw in a 5w UV sterilizer for my asking price. Dena

Looking to sell a few things to get some money together so that I can fly my mom down here for the Port A trip in July. 1. 3lb rock (approx 8"x6"...awkwardly shaped) with reddish/orangish monti cap, lots of light blueish palys, two bright orangish/red rhodactis (I think) shrooms, also has a 1/2" piece of some sort of milli growing on it. It's a flourscent green, but I don't think that's what it's suppose to be. $40 (pending Fragen_Unreal) 2. 5.5lb rock (maybe about 13" long and 6" thick in the center part...ends are thinner...another oddly shaped one)with a colony of green zoos on it. this is a cool looking rock with lots of color...almost all purple...kind of "U" shaped. I like it a lot! ($30) 3. Large green mushroom leather...hosts one of my clowns and man is she going to be pissed. When fully opened it's at least 10". Photo was taken after the MH went out. It is stuck to a rock I want to keep, but also has another small rock I think on the other side of it. Asking $40. 4. Finger leather with fuzzy polyps...really sways in the flow. It's one of my favorite leathers. It's about 7"x5" when fully opened. Asking $20. It's in the first photo on the left. 5. Kenya Tree Frag (should be mounted by now) with two stalks about 4" tall - $5. 6. Monti frag...suppose to be a light purple with brownish polyps, but looks almost like a light brown...hard to tell with the polyps always out. Lots of growth...has grown underneath itself and started a second level, polyps always out...about 3"x2" - $5. (pending to Gonzobob) 7. Two AOG frags, 2 polyps each - $15 per frag. (one pending to Gonzobob) 8. 24 gallon Nano cube. The lights are 4mths old...attached to a ballast and don't work through the switch on the hood...not sure if the ballast is standard, but I think it may be. I bought it used about 5mths ago. Front part of the lid is broken, but could be rigged...stays on, but doesn't stay open. I usually leave that part off to allow more air into the tank. Comes with the stand, but the METAL HALIDE IS NOT INCLUDED! Asking $175 OBO.

Any news on the kitty? So tempted to get another one, but my husband doesn't want any more cats. My cats were cool...loved to be held with their paws around your neck. My female would get on the counter when I was doing my hair and climb up me to give me hugs. They would lay on the sofa behind us and swat at our food to steal it. The male would eat tortilla chips...heck...he'd eat through tin foil to get to food...and cereal boxes. He ate part of a tinny bag from Sun Chips once...and it was all sparkly in his xrays. Sorry about your kitty!!! I lost my first cat to liver disease, but she was nine years old. She had it for a while, but you couldn't tell until she ate Lily that my friend bought us after we lost one of our dogs. That set her kidneys off and made her horribly sick. My male cat died last November of Addison's Disease. Took my vet a year to figure it out because it's rare in cats. I've always got something going on with one of the dogs. I really hope someone can help and kitty gets better!!! Dena

Ricordia's usually have same size bubbly thingies all around it...Yuma's usually get larger and have alternating sizes of bubbly thingies. LOL

Is it a Yuma by chance? I've got two in my cube and one melted down and left a tiny piece that's growing now...same color too...nice! I'd love a red one if anyone comes across one! Dena

I've got some of the 5ftish tables that are white and adjust up higher so you don't have to bend over as far. They aren't qhite as deep as the normal portable tables. I think I have three of those. We can bring them if needed, just let me know. Dena

I'll have to mess with the skimmer...I just turned it on tonight. We had to drain the tank so we could move it and my hubby could attach this thingy to it. Of course I had to move rocks around again, bad habit of mine. I need more rock and am hoping I can use some from my big tank, but I may have to search for some smaller pieces. I'll try to read up on LED's more tomorrow. He said that was my job...nice...wants to build something, but doesn't check to make sure I can use it LOL. Dena

I've got a Coralife Clamp On with a 150W, 14K Phoenix bulb on mine. Although hubby called before lunch and one by one my MH's went out...starting on my reef. He turned it off, back on, and the one that was lit was out. Went in another room, came back and the one on the Solana was out. He is waiting for the weather to get better and the ballasts to cool before he tries again. I'll be so mad...that Phoenix bulb is only 2days old!!! Hubby is building the LED from scratch. He's putting little reflectors around each bulbs...I think there will be 24 bulds and a mixture of white and blue. He will also have something on the back of the tank to shine in where I'm putting Chaeto (instead of the bio balls). The only thing I need to find out is whether or not SPS can grow under them. The controller thing (fancier name) will also allow for dimming of the lights. I'm apparently in charge of the photos and he'll try to right up some information on it. It's going to be pricy with the extra stuff he's adding. He got much of his information from a build on Reef Central. He's in the process of ordering things as I type. Thanks for the tip about the back part of the tank Medi. I'm hoping the Chaeto will help some with that also. Dena

Like many, I couldn't resist this tank. Set it up with sand earlier in the week and move some live rock and crabs from my 24g into it today. Some pics are cloudy, but it's settling nicely. My husband is currently working on the LED fixture for it. He's using aluminum to build something, don't know what it's called, but he's attaching it to the back of the tank and I'll be able to move it up and down. The light figure will be placed on it. So basically I'll be able to move the light up when I want in the tank. I can't wait until it's cycled and I can start putting pieces in it!!! Dena

I was actually only trying to look at zoas because they are cheaper and easier, but when I find something I like I just check out what the seller has up. I usually don't bid or want to and forget and everything ends on me LOL. I stayed home all day today and set my phone to go off when bidding on each of my faves was coming to an end. I got a piece of Rainbow Pocillipora for $2.25 because nobody else wanted it. I tend to stay away from anyone that doesn't combine shipping for either a flat fee or a flat fee for how many you buy. I don't like those that say $50 overnight and so much for each additional. And when I don't pull them up by zoas, I look through them all. I got these from Reef Empire. They usually post a few pages of stuff all at once and then when those sell they do another. There are a few on Ebay that have really good quality. I haven't bought any online for a while so we'll see how these are when I get them. I've got water and rocks in the Solana...can't wait for it to be ready. I want to put "special" stuff in this tank. Thought I'd share a few of the corals I am getting from Ebay. I usually just browse and never bid, but I got a little carried away. I figured if I was going to try to get one then I better make the shipping worth it. The first one was my fave... They called this PPE Scolymia This one was called Low Rider Zoanthids, but I think they just made it up. If someone recognizes them, I'd love a proper id. This is a red and purple Aussie Blastos. I got a few other zoos and a couple of montis, but I think I have one...not sure if it's the same, but it might be and I didn't realize it until I bid. One is light purple with green polyps. Dena

I'm in the same situation. My husband wants to build an LED light instead of me buying a chiller...I'll give him a chance. We have our Solana set up...sand and water right now...can't wait to start putting stuff in it. Dena

It's a teddy bear crab. I had one hitch hike smaller than a dime. Next time I saw him he was bigger than a quarter. I caught him because he moved to a coral that I pulled and put in a nano...he picked the wrong coral LOL. I did see mine pull pieces of a flower pot coral off to eat. I'll take him for my fuge if you don't want him. Dena
