    Free Stuff

I can meet at RCA around 10:30ish tomorrow morning if anyone is interested. I will also be hitting the RR outlet and Ikea. Metal Halide Light, it says "Leviton Telecom" on the balast...from what I understand the bulb can be bought at a home improvement store...does have a quick disconnect cord also. Not a reef made light, but I got it from another member that used it on a reef with success...could be a backup for someone. I don't know much about it, and never ended up using it. Precision Marine Skimmer. All you get is what you see. No other plumbing or pumps. Was going to hook it up, but plans changed. It had a crack in it that was heavily siliconed. I was told it was used afterwards and worked without issue. I also have a five gallon glass tank with the back painted black. It's dirty with a little bit of old sand that wouldn't dump out...I'm not cleaning it...it's free LOL. Hubby just wants it off the counter. Dena
  2. $20 for the mohawks anyone? I'm going to try to swing by the Tate's tomorrow if that helps. Dena
  3. FREE...has some die-off underneath...may have hit another coral (been moving it around). Will be out and about tomorrow and can probably deliver it's in the area I'll be in (Georgetownish)...let me know. Dena
  4. These frags are still doing great. Click on the photos of the images I've posted and you'll see their actual color. Will lower to $25...I want to buy myself a couple new frags for Xmas I'll be hitting the Tates probably tomorrow and can deliver...got the week off - woo hoo.
  5. Thanks LOL...I have a 20g long that could house a puffer...may see if they have small ones and make that his home. It's keeping live rock alive...has a couple of decorator crabs, but that's okay.
  6. Everything I read says that they tend to eat corals, but I swear I've seen some in with corals. Any input on this? I don't have any SPS in the tank, just some zoas, leathers, hammers and shrooms. No shrimp or clams in the main tank. I would definitely start as small as possible. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks! Dena
  7. Sorry, didn't realize I hadn't posted the price for the chalice...$30 each.
  8. A mini colony for sale - $20. It's odd shaped, but is roughly about 2"x2". I've taken some photos at different angles. Nice little piece, but I've got another and need to make more room. I'm home all day today. Dena
  9. Here are a couple photos of the actual frag.
  10. Hornets Sold, Mohawks now $25.
  11. Zoas sold, chalices still available and showing no ill signs from fragging.
  12. I've got one $10, one $15 and one $20 piece left.
  13. I tried again, did it work this time? LOL You aren't too far from me...coming from Bastrop I'm a mile before the Pecan Store. I will be home until noon on Sunday...then again later in the day. Should be home most of the day tomorrow. 698-7192

Here are some photos from later in the day...going to drop it to $30.
  15. I went again and fragged the Chalice today...went well! I want to give these guys a week to heal, but wanted to throw them out there now while I'm posting. 1 piece (left) has 3 mouths and is about 3/4" x 3/4" 1 piece (right) has at least 2 mouths, think 3, but it's hard to tell and is about 1" x 3/4" Also, I've got some 6 zoa polyps on a small rock. I know these cost me about $15-$20 back when I bought them (I have another piece in another tank). Asking $10 or I will take $5 for them if you are buying something else. Dena

    Acan

Red acan with almost a hot pink in the center area... I keep knocking this guy around and he just recently fell into another coral...upset, but didn't damage it much. Another example of too much stuff in my smaller tanks. There are about 12 heads on it...asking $50 for the whole thing or I can attempt to cut in half for $30 each half. Dena
  17. Not sure what the other zoa is called, nor do I know how many of each are on each piece. These were growing on an old coral and I cut up the pieces rather than remove the zoas. 2 $10 pieces with at least 20 polyps (1 pending wayneb) 2 $15 pieces with at least 30 polyps 1 $20 piece with at least 40 polyps (pending Tiny) This is a photo of a piece I broke off earlier with the polyps fully extended. Also, the Orange Bam Bams in the right of the photo - about 18 polyps on a quick count - asking $30. Dena

Six heads...one is on the smaller side (you can see it in the photo). It's the piece in the right of the first photo that is for sale only. This was a colony that I just split. Left piece only looks larger because it's got a longer base. Photo was taken when the lights first came on so they aren't fully extended. Some heads get as large as a quarter. Asking $40.
