Will it get along with a coral beauty. If it does, i will take him and put him in my exile tank for naughty fish.
When you mean exile tank---do you mean fish only?

Here at home....I get a lot of that...when I'm reading something funny that's a 20 post thread...I just LOL!!! Automatically my husband asks "Cindy, What's so funny"....I usually say "Nothing".....I'm not about to read all the post so he'll get the joke or funny comments others post. Or I just tell him..."get over here and read this."

Wow they are so pretty! I just adore clowns, and when I see so many more kinds, I just fall in love again.
Thanks...may I make another suggestion?....The pink skunk clownfish are also very passive, IMO, and they get along well with other inhabitants. I use to have a pair...but my husband preferred the saddlebacks over the pinks (men and the color of pink?---well he doesn't like pink much at all...LOL).
This is an older pic.

I've notice in the past several LPS seem to do well where you 1st place it....but after a while they tend to either loose their color or they're not expanding as they use to. From my observation....our tank seems to be more of an SPS dominant tank....and I'd figure my SPS have double or triple in size and if this could be the cause for LPS to react---Chemical reaction from SPS? Any thoughts? Sorry, Mark didn't mean to hijack this thread.

Saddleback clownfish are the most peaceful I ever seen...I've got a pair and don't bother anyone...IMO.

Look at the mess you got yourself into......try to keep up with thread.

Okay....I'm going to hate myself for not taking advantage on the savings....Mark put me down for another bucket. That's a total of 2.
Thanks.

Do you have any favia frags on sale?

Does it come out when you feed your tank?....Watch carefully next time and see if it comes out during feeding time....maybe you'll get a better look at it. Also, at night, try to use a flashlight with red or blue filter...so you won't scare it.

Agree totally w/Mike......that's one of the many reasons I love my cats.

I've read that as long as the carbon was not used for medicinal removal purposes you can mix it in your soil for gardening.

Very Nice!!!.... I love the lacquer finish...black makes the tank stand out. I like the look of birch wood...even in its natural color(which is what we have).....we just need to seal it with clear polyurethane.

can you post a pic of the strawberry chalice?
Eckreef....you won't be disappointed...this chalice is pretty in color....especially once it acclimates to your tank. I have one as well, check my avatar, is one of my favorites.

Sweet, screw the canopy. I'll save the $600 bucks.
Cindy, I will have to check my house for cameras. -.-
Can't help it---I'm a night owl and this the time for me to relax and try to give my 2cents worth opinion/advice.

Very Nice!! Definitely the blue, purple and even the iridescent green hues will pop. I'm with Gabe---would like to know about growth results.

Okay Derek,
Don't get the wrong idea...I'm not stalking you LOL! There's several members here who would probably be willing to give you a hand on designing and/or building a canopy for your tank. It wouldn't hurt to ask on the forum and also if they would give you an estimate. It's worth a try, IMO.

How were you calibrating it? We use pure RO/DI water or distilled water and turn the set screw until that sample reads 0.

We're very satisfied with our Reef Octopus TDNW 300 Recirculating Skimmer. Although it's a monster, we had planned on having an external one and there was no way we could've afford a Euro or Deltec.
Specs:
12" diameter
32" Tall
Recirculating Pumps: 3 x Octopus OTP 2000, 38W, 530GPH.
Requires additional feed pump with gph rating at approx. 1.5 times volume of your system.
Approx. footprint 20" x 14"
Now remember we have a 215g. with a 125g sump/refugium and a 34g. Neo-Nano tank plumbed to this system. This skimmer it's doing its job...IMO.

Just have to say it----Good looking anemone and beautiful stripped pattern....its been a while since I've seen one. Good luck on your trade.

+1 on "FRAG IT".....very original---great point Dave & RJohn.

Agree w/muddybluewater....do a water change and before that, scrub the rock and stir up any settling detritus and siphon the water out.
Need sand sifting "stuff"

I'm guessing you're not too fond of sea cucumbers....because they sure love sifting thru the sand...especially the top layer that tends to collect some detritus or a slight nuisance algae/or cyano.
