I had a tiger tail sea cucumber in my 36g bowfront seahorse tank for about 3 yrs. It split and gave the clone to Dapettit. One issue I encounter, my maxijet I had in for flow (I completely forgot to add a sponge over the cage)....the cucu ended in the pump...shredded and of course, didn't make it. Did a 30% water change and the seahorse, gobies and corals had no ill effect....everything checked normal. The following day I did a 10% water change, just to make sure...everything seemed fine. Now remember, I have no idea on how long the cucu was stuck to the pump....so for all I know it could of been there overnight.
I still have 4-5 cucumbers in the main tank and had them for over 4yrs. with no issues whatsoever.

Nice video....Now you need to change "Tank size" info----No more 90g tank. You think you'll be adding more rock to the aquascape? Or are you leaving it more open for fish to swim around?

I really appreciate the acans. They look fantastic! They are the center piece of my tank.

Thanks again!
Bryan

According to Julian Sprung book of "Invertebrates --A Quick Reference Guide"---Its says that is a good herbivore in marine aquariums and reproduces prolifically. It mainly feeds on algae, but also eats tissue from hard and soft corals, so it cannot safely be housed in a live coral aquarium.
Desirable/undesirable features: Useful in marine aquariums w/o live corals. Not reef safe.
Food: Herbivorous. Filamentous algae, cyanobacteria and diatoms. Also feeds on coral tissue.

I need to thin out some of these clusters of aquatic plant....they're overgrowing and not leaving space for my lilies to grow. I have about 3 clusters that I can do without.....if you're interested send me a PM and will reply ASAP.
Here are some pics.
This is the color of blooms it puts out....really pretty.

no one could hold the camera still...
Mark, I can understand you not been able to---(keep the camera still) cause of sleep deprivation....but Dave might of had too many shots of Mezcal. That's ok....we took care of him after today's meeting.
-
Thanks to the Holderness family for opening their home....enjoyed seeing new and old faces. Boy did I get a treat at the end, I got to hold Parker---what an adorable little guy.
-
So sorry we missed it....that's what happens when you have kids....they come first. But every time we meet up with The Pettits' is good times and enjoy the company. We hope you had a great time.
-
Robert and I will be there.
-
Aww! that's so adorable....you think I will get the chance to see him when I pick up my part of the BRS order?
-
Did it get damaged pretty bad? Let's just hope everything makes it thru.
Anemones....this is the main reason my husband keeps talking me out of getting one. But I say "Honey, the RBTA looks so pretty". I was fortunate to babysit a RBTA not too long ago...and it just looked amazing...and even though I hear about the mayhem it can created...I still want one.
Maybe if I just sneak it in (put more rock) . You think the hubby won't notice?
-
We would love to come by .... Curious how ur tank looks like. Are you going to the meeting?
-
Maybe once it gains so more growth you can be more definite about it's ID.

Hmmm...kinda looks like a blue tip tenius but has it grown at all? How long have you had it?....I know you have the tenius ...Do they look similar? The echinata has less coralites (more sparse).
