It won't hurt to check the impeller for small snails or critters that might of creep up.

It died. It kept losing more heads so I took it out. I did not want the infection to spread to other corals.
Oh Derek...sorry to hear that....looks like it spread pretty fast. You could of salvage at least one of the heads by dipping it in lugols. That's how I've had good outcomes with the frogspawn and torches, before.
If you ever decide to get a frag...I will be thinning some in a week or so.....It's getting a bit large for my liking. Just let me know.

Hey Mark,
I guess eventually you'll place the granulosa frag higher....your just letting acclimate to your lighting, right?
-
OK...then I'll drop by 1 as well.
-
How about between 11-12?
-
I would like to come by around 12:30 - 1:00, LMK if this time works out for you.

Love the anemones....they're so colorful. I can't seem to see clownfish in there...do you have any in there? Thanks for posting FTS.

It looks like the Chocolate Tan (Acanthurus pyroferus).

Hi Will,
Alice just notified me that there was a misunderstanding over the phone today.
She thought that everyone was getting their own frag pack, not splitting 1 frag pack out to 4 people.
We're asking you guys to send the $100 as Gift at once, and we'll ship it to you. Then when people head to your place for pick up, you can collect money from them.
Please send $100 as Gift to [email protected]
We'll get it out for you guys next week. Let us know what date is good for you to receive.
Thank you.

Will....I went ahead and sent payment. It's still going to be shipped to Will Tyson's home. Sent you a PM with his address and date that he will be available for delivery.

I suggest we take photos of the disciplinary board in action...
just think...my last post before I leave in the A.M. had to revolve around callahan....
I hate to say it...but Mama...it's all your fault....you befriended him and now you can't get rid of him. He's in your every waking moment and that's not good.
By the way, have a safe and joyous trip. Take lots of pic so you can share with the rest of us.

ok I tried again and it did close easily. So I dropped it back in the tank but it still has its mouth wide open....weird. I guess time will tell.
I hope it gets better....nothing more disheartening then to see it trying to eat and starve to death. I went through something similar with my seahorse (lock jaw disease) and it was so frustrating. Good Luck!

This is huge.....can't wait to see it all set up. Thanks for keeping us informed on your progress.

I believe the dottyback can hold its own.....it's a semi-aggressive fish and I don't think it'll have problems with the wrasse. I had a sunrise dottyback that eventually killed my banded coral shrimp (actually had it for dinner)...that was my main issue with the fish, so I took it back to LFS and got the Springer (springerii) dottyback--more docile.

Anyone want to split one
Hey Will,
I'm only interested in #1 and #8...Which ones were interested on?...is anyone willing to jump on this one and split it. I'm assuming this 10 frag pack is for $100.

I saw that coral too.....and wonder how it looks as a mini/full colony? Does it really have that coloration? and also does anyone have this particular coral? would someone be kind enough to post pics of their coral.

I just need to know when this order will go in and ship out..since I'll be out of town on April 30 thru May 2.

Welcome!

I'm interested on: the dragon ball chalice and the ultra christmas war coral.

I think we need to save that picture for his kid's 16th birthday.
I agree.
This one can be use later on...on a billboard. "Have you seen this guy?....No---Thank goodness. Yes---avoid him like the plague. He will leave you penny less. His favorite phrase: "People wanted me to do another Group Buy, so here's the deadline". If the pink boa doesn't give him away...I don't know what will.
-
Do you know how big the Halloween crab gets? Very nice collection of zoas you've added.
-
Marc came over and wanted headshots taken. He insisted on the Boa.
Mark!! What were you thinking ...now you need to start collecting funds to send your little boy for future therapy. This is so wrong; in so many levels.

SHE eats anything I throw at it, which is the only reason I bought it. I wouldn't buy one of these w/out it eating frozen/prepared foods already.
It's a good thing the 6 line wrasse is out and not bullying or competing for food, which is a big plus.
What kind of snails?
in Reef Keeping

Google Collonista snails.....from what I read, they're reef safe and eat algae. They tend to come out more at night but you'll get to see a few during lights on. We have them in our tanks as well.
