Ok, well last night about 5 minutes after the light went out i webt to my tank to try and find my Harlequin Shrimp and there was a huge(6") worm that i have identifyed as this type of worm. From what i could find it just eats on detrius and stuff on sand bed. The question I have Is: "I havent seen my new addition(harlequin shrimp) in a days or so, he/she is new." I got it saturday afternoon. I bought a chocolate chip starfish last night and put it in the sump to try and coax it outta hiding and nothing. You think the fireworm may have eaten the shrimp? Or just hiding, getting used to the new home?

+1 for the ROWAPHAUS. i put it in a two little fishys reactor any it took care of my diatom problem and a little quarter sized spot of cyano. Within a week or so.

just turn that ball valve closed till u get the height u want. I do the same with my mag 9, it turned down almost half way.

I agree also, but i hv noticed that my skimmate is a little smaller this week and it is a little darker.

i bought a booster pump......my pressure coming into my RODI is 65-70lbs. I thought that i needed more pressure thaN THt so i bought one. Works well....makes water faster at 75-80lbs but i just dont know yet if i needed it. The house pressure is like i said 65-70lbs. This booster pump i bought will go WAY over 100lbs. If i decide to sell ill post it. I think 65-70lbs or head is plenty.

I have a brand new mag 18 in the box. with recipt. I'll sell it for $100 NEVER USED, i was gonna use it for my return but it way to big. My tank wont drain water fast enough to keep up, it will literally drain a 40 gallon sump super fast. And i have an 1.25" drain not the usual 3/4"-1" drain. give me a call 512-971-1925

OOOPPPPSSS........ I keep my RO waste water and put it on the yard. I also have 55gallon barrells under my downspouts for rain water(2x55gal), and i have a 305 gallon storage tank in back yard full of rain water collected all year, crap i better get rid of some water(NOT) almost 500 gallons of perfectly good water that i didnt have to pay for i dont think so(rainwater collection) and 60-70 gallons of ro when i make water "who cares i say". Im diong my part to conserve. Its amazing on the rain water collection- In 10-15 mins or rain i can fill one 55gal barrell overfull depending on how hard it is raining. But yes the RO water does use excessive amounts of waste, Well not waste to me I USE IT!!!!!!!

me either, had a reverse siphon issue while water changing but it didnt over flow anywhere. Had enuff room in sump. I have since changed all of that to where if all fails it wont siphon tank out on floor.

i am in the paint and body industry and i have chipped the edge of a winshield b4 only 2 c that in a few weeks it cracks, but if its the pic ive seen it looks clean, u can used epoxy or even rearview mirror adhesive on the corner and remake it. Wont look as good but its all up to you
