    Wanted to see if anyone had any experience on creating and hosting a website? Have done a little research on it, but wanted to see if anyone had any knowledge or personal advice.

      hire someone to do a great job. websites are easy to make, but they look terrible. if a business has a crappy website, I generally won't give it a shot unless its convenient for some other reason (location)

      i've heard good things about squarespace.com. but i also agree with victoly, even if it costs more, get a good one.

      My uncle has a really nice website. He used serif. He updates weekly, which is what I wanted to do. When I was looking at 1for 150$ a month, they only granted me 30 mins a month to make changes. Didn't like that. GoDaddy.com is pretty cheap as a host. Don't know how great they are.
