    Wanted to see if anyone had any experience on creating and hosting a website? Have done a little research on it, but wanted to see if anyone had any knowledge or personal advice.

      I've had no trouble with go daddy. But I don't think they are the best. I also don't use any of the tools. Just built my own and upload it.

      Go with hostgator for the hosting until you need something more robust. I definitely recommend finding a good designer for it. It's typically a worthwhile investment. Make sure they build or use some sort of CMS so you don't need their constant attention. Even wordpress makes a good CMS if it's setup correctly.

      my website is built with squarespace. It's very easy to use and has a lot of multifunctionality built in. I pay $14/mo. and am able to have different areas of the site password protected for different audiences. I'm able to integrate video and audio easily.
