I volunteered at my job to take the package. Work 1/2 day tomorrow, then sign my release papers Wed. morning. Been here for 13 years. Work at my building has been transferred to Juarez, Mexico for about 4 years. Dell is also in the process of a buyout. Figured this is the right time. Never been unemployed for my 20 years of working. Want to take a few weeks to a month to decide what's my next step. I have been offered a job at Young & Pratt. Also thinking of buying out Winkley...

what do you do?

I work as a lead in the Dell manufacturing plant on Howard Lane. I do ordering, planning, inventory, driving forklifts. At this moment, I handle the cage area where all the high priced material is. Whatever it takes to keep the lines up and running. I've pretty much did anything that involves a desktop/laptop. Just haven't done some of it in awhile. Got away from it. I used to build, test, and breakdown systems for repairs.
