Our guest speaker will be Dr. Harry Miller, retired veterinarian – Dr. Miller has taken courses on fish pathology and diseases but is technically not a fish specialist by veterinarian standards. However his insight into quarantining, disease transmission and possible basic treatment protocols will be most informative.

    Can't understand why the Cyano keeps coming back! I have adjusted flow, cut back on feeding and the everclear dosing. grrrrrr

      I hate to say this, I was checking out my tank today and the 1 spot that always has a little cyano had all cleared up. Dunno why. Just like magic. It'll prolly come back.

      you may have high co2 in your tank (cyano needs it) you could also try sugar instead of vodka, as vodka can cause cyano some times.

    Cleaned the 150 and replace bulbs after 18 months. Looking pretty good. I think I'll stay in the hobby a little longer.

    Communication is a the key to a successful marriage. Like when the wife says “Oh, the flowers need to be watered” and you think “OK, she’s gonna water the flowers” UH, NO - translation “While I’m at my mothers get off your fat behind and water the flowers!” I found out the hard way. . .

    Cyano will not go away. I followed every piece of advice I can find. Gonna break down and try the Red Slime Remover. Anybody have experience with this?
