    i'm alive, just slammed. can't complain about too much work. tanks are doing well, but i haven't been able to get to a store and buy anyhting to add since april/may sometime.

    After all these years, I finally got my tanks on battery backup air pumps. 1 for the DT, 1 for the sump, and 1 for the pico.

      The pumps I got are Penn Plax Silent Air B11. Pretty small, take 2 D batteries. Got them off Amazon. They take up an outlet spot but it's worth it!

    Got the last of the interior painting/sealing done on the canopy. Once I build and install the light rails the canopy can go on the tank!

    The gfci that my tanks are on keeps tripping. Should I be looking for a tank problem or a house problem? It's only staying on for a few minutes at a time. Haven't had this happen until today.

      They are on an apex but I have them powered by a regular power strip. I just plugged them in and it tripped. Then I unplugged the one kessil I've been having trouble with and everything has stayed on for about an hour so far. I'm pretty sure it's that light. Time to see how kessil's customer service is with warranty claims. I should be just barely under the 1yr mark.

      I finally unplugged the lights, thinking maybe if I could reduce the load maybe it'd help (idk too much about electrical stuff) It's stayed on ever since, so I'm thinking I have a bad kessil. One of them has been acting up since a little bit before the move. Time to read up on the warranty.

      Yes the new house. Not DR Horton, I bet that was frustrating! It's plugged into the only close outlet. So it's probably not something in the tank causing it to trip? The outlet's easy to swap out, I just need to go buy one. I hope that's it!
