  1. I am sure it would be more than I could ever afford! happy3.gif
  2. Found this on the web. Thought I would share. Make sure to look at the slide show! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14834763/
  3. Oh! and I want to win one of the big door prizes!
  4. I am not sure what to ask for them. I know that they are pretty rare. I can definitely hold them for you. I will do some research and see what a fair deal would be.
  5. I have them. I actually just got them to split on to 2 different rocks. I may be persuaded to trade or sell the rock with 2 polyps on it.
  6. I would like to help you because I am thinking about trying to modify my spider reflectors to make them better as well. Call me if you want tomorrow. -My wife is going to be busy all day so I will be free. 657-5472
  7. I am most interested in the fragging workshop. That and I am really looking forward to the trade show.
  8. Pflugerville is a good place to get a lot of house for the money. It is pretty flat on that side of town and not a lot of trees. The further west you go in Austin the hillier it gets.
  9. I have 2x250w MH and 1x400w MH with 2 pumps, and 2 Seios plus various equip. and the total hit on my elec. bill is about $30.
  10. I had the 65 Coralife on my 55 and was happy with it. When I upgraded to the 125 I got the 220 version for $225. I get a lot of nasty skimmate with mine. It takes about a week to break them in and they still have a tendency to wig out every once in awhile and over fill, but for the money I love it.

Welcome! I know there are a couple here from Killeen.
  12. John, I am pretty good with DIY stuff so I can try and help you if you want. Just let me know.
  13. You can make it in less than 3 hours easily. From my house to west Houston takes just over 2 hours.
  14. John, the reason for putting the fuge after the return and using a tee from the return is so that the water level can be higher in the fuge. If you had it second the water level would either have to be below the bubble trap level or if you kept it above it you might end up with a micro bubble problem.
  15. I think the overall design is sound since it is the same one I use. Here is a pic of mine(30g) when I was testing it: I used 1/8" glass which was a mistake because 2 of the panes cracked. I built another sump out of a 55g using 1/8" acrylic. I sanded the edges and the silicone adhered fine. The only problem is that the 1/8" acrylic bowed once water was added. I fixed that by making "U" shaped braces that slid over the tops of the baffles. Since you are starting from scratch I would use 1/4" acrylic. That should be plenty strong enough to hold up. My only other suggestions would be to make the baffles a little wider. That way it will be easier to clean down in there later. Also get your skimmer before putting the baffles in so that you know it will fit before hand. GL!
  16. That is an amazing difference. I think you may have found a new job. Making reflectors for all of us.
  17. I officially nominate Clint, aka fishypets, for our first Tank of the Month/Quarter.
  18. I would like the hot pink ones in the empty shell. How much for those?
  19. I have orange but not enough to really frag.
  20. I could also offer up a large frag of Green Monti Cap if interested.
  21. Mine look different than yours. Here is a pic, but they are greener than they appear here.
  22. Me too! ^ I have 2 metallic green Ric polyps if you are interested.
  23. I think 2 x 250w MH on a 100 is plenty. If you haven't seen Fishypets tank yet here it is: This is a 125g with 2 400w MH. It is 6' long. Another benefit of using the T5s is you can set up a sunrise/sunset effect. IMO I would take that extra money and go ahead and get the chiller now.

Glad you made it. You even made a cool avatar already. That is awesome! Let me know when you are ready to start collecting stuff. I have several things you might be able to use.
