    Hah! Pyramid butterfly captured and moved to the predator tank. Fastest catch on my record, less than 20 seconds from trap in tank to butterfly in trap. He won't be eating my corals now!

    Solved the problem of getting a new fish and not being able to see it for days since it hides in the rock work. Buy 3 new fish and now your bound to see one. Picked up a 6 line wrasse, red pseudochromis, and bi-color blenny.

      BTW, it wouldn't have likely bit me, since I always have on dry, rubber soled shoes when working in the tanks. Since it couldn't have completed the circuit using me, I most likely wouldn't have even felt a thing. The corals were what clued me in that I had a major issue.

      My first clue was the monti's. The setosa went from bright orange to pale orange and covered in slime. The bulletproof orange cap did the same thing. Zoas closed up, acros rtn'ed.

      If it had been anything but that blasted float switch, I would have been fine. But no, it had to be the one thing that was plugged into a regular outlet. Figures.

      Murphy lives, but only until I find him. I'm still losing corals this morning, but for now it's nothing that I can't replace. The high dollar stuff was the first to go.

      Thankfully I have another frag system. I had just shut down the side tanks on that system, but had not disconnected them yet. I restarted them and moved over what I could save. It's still a bad loss.

      I'm worried that the switch leached copper. Rather than taking any kind of chance, I'm starting over. I needed to build a new stand and sump anyway, it's almost impossible to work in there.

      I used my voltmeter and started turning stuff off till the voltage dropped. The float switch was the culprit. Going to do a complete reset on that system.
