reebuilders seemed to like them. i think it would be a pretty cool tank to have. if you still wanted to do pipefish and dwarfs you could do a sea grass and gorgonia bed. you could light it with led or a 70w mh as well

Sweet! Thanks for the links. Will mentioned the ADA tanks, but I couldn't find them so I didn't bother to keep looking! I'm going to be looking at -10 gallons for now. This is going to be on my desk, and 12 might be fine for that as far as weight goes, but I don't have too much room for that. Which is why I was looking at the 6. For the Edge, I'm wondering just how hard replacing the lighting is going to be. I'm not even sure what I would need... a LED of some sort? I don't know what else would be small enough to fit in the space provided. Yeah the still have 'em at Pet-Co for $99. i wouldn't recommend the edge for a reef tank as it is very hard to light. check out www.nano-reef.com and they will give you alot of ideas, but imo i would look for a different option.

remember that restocking your clean up crew needs to be done every 6 mo if not every year

Yellow corris wrasse will eat them as well as cleaner shrimp, but you have to make sure ur shrimp is large enough not to be eaten by the lion. Also if u do the dips again make sure the ph is the same as well

Ok so my ALk is low, but is that necessarily a bad thing? Right now it is at 5, but it was 4 yesterday. and it seems to be staying in this range. my tank looks good but i am seeing slow growth in my sps. Ca is at 500. i am carbon dosing and i know this tends to lower your alk. My ph is 8.31

I doubt your fish will eat anything if he wont take live. Is he breathing heavily? you may want to do some research into flukes (i lost two scorpions to them and they displayed similar symptoms as you are describing). also if you have a qt tank, i would suggest moving him there.
