Here's what I culled from my tank:
1) montipora confusa (encrusted on a plug)
2) red monti (2 pieces attached to a rock)
3) frag of zoas that look very similiar to the 'Robb in Austin' zoas from above (green with orange middle)
4) frag of green palys
5) 1 green striped mushroom attached to clam shell
6) waving anthelia (1 frag rock with good growth and several floaters)

How much for the clown and chromis?

Don, looks like I may need to hit the ATM before coming to the meeting
-
I will definitely be attending and looking forward to it!

I visit the other local club forums MARSHreef.com (Houston) and MAAST.org (South Texas) regularly when I get finished browsing ARC. Both have forums.
-
What bulb combo are you using and how old are they?
-
I will try and get in there and frag some off. It seems pretty straight forward and if all works out then I could have some fixed to rubble.
I am planning on attending the meeting and will bring some pieces along.

1) I believe that is Anthelia aka waving-hand coral (is it matted on the rock?)...xenia has a stalk or trunk with smaller branching/extending polyps.
The coral is matted on the rock and the stalks grow up from there.
2) +on the kenya tree (capnella sp.)
Thanks for all the replies. So now I know what to call it and can find out if there is any interest in it.

1) Kinda looks like clove polyps... do they retract at night into a mat?
The 'fingers' retract sometimes into a fist, but most of the time they stay open and waving.
2) Yeah, does looks like kenya tree that is not fully open.
That is as open as it gets. The ends look like little pine cones.
I was hoping to bring some of the xenia/clove polyps to the meeting Saturday, but I realized that I didn't really know the actual name.

I am looking for help Identifying 2 corals.
1) Far left of tank - I thought it was a xenia, but am not sure. It has long branches and grows fast.
2) middle of tank (directly underneath purple cap) - some sort of kenya tree family member?
Thanks!

Thanks to my wife for bringing it my attention It certainly looks like a great piece. One day we will actually stock fish in our reef aquarium.

PM sent for the Plate coral.

If you have the room you may want to plumb the 15g containers together as a freshwater holding and use the 30g as the saltwater mixing tank. Not sure it would matter, but it would seem easier to mix one large container than 2 smaller ones.

Wow, that is awesome! What kind of success ratio do folks have with clowns? Have you had them spawn before?

I wonder if any LFSs will be getting any of these guys. And if so what the cost would be.
I would love to have a mandarin, but without a fuge/sump I don't think I would be able to support an adequate pod supply.

I picked up 4 15g barrels from the Coke bottling plant a while back. I only need 3 for my storage setup. If you want the barrel let me know. I do not have the bung for it as the plant did not provide it when I purchased, but a 2" PVC threaded adapter and plug will close it up nice and tight.
I would be willing to let it go for a frag or 2.

I have been wanting to purchase new T5 bulbs. Free shipping is nice, and any other price breaks would be a bonus. I will check to see what I need and if the funds are available.
Any price breaks on the following items with the Preferred status?

I had small mice in my garage a couple of years ago. Snap traps were not effective, but glue traps were. They would run around the snappers, but I caught several in glue traps.

Good to meet you John. Good luck with getting rid of the Ich. We came home today with 3 new corals to add to the tank as well. It was a win-win deal.
If only Shane had not sold all of his 36" T5 bulbs......then I could have spent more.
-
Tank has been sold. Thanks!

PM replied to.

Bump.
OBO? Trades? (interested in softies, LPS, SPS, live rock, ATO components)

Thanks Jeff! Has your newborn arrived yet?
No arrival yet......anytime between now and Apr 5. The sooner the better as far as Mom is concerned.

Good looking additions you have there. Those green palys look like mine. Sorry I didn't get to stick around and chat more....I was chasing my son around the area
