Sent you a PM Stephen.

I moved to Houston, but still like to visit here. I want to upgrade now that I have more room and we feel that a standard 300g (96x30x24) would fit our needs.
We are looking to use it as a room divider and thus prefer the overflow be on one end rather than the back. I want to use a closed loop as well, so if it's already drilled for one then great, but otherwise having the bottom glass non-tempered would be idea.
I understand that the specs are fairly specific, but I figure someone out there has to have one that they want to move. I got a quote from Kingfish and as nice as the AGE tank is we simply cannot afford that currently.
We checked out a 450g (96x30x36), and I will say that it was awesome.....but holy cow it was big. Dare I say too big? We want bigger than 210, but smaller than 450.

Congrats and the tank is looking great. You will be passing off frags in no time.

I think for a tank that size you will need CO2 from a bottle and diffused into the water column. I don't think that DIY CO2 wil get you the levels of co2 needed.
You can diffuse co2 into the water column by a few different ways, but I think the most efficient way is to use a co2 reactor. You should be able to search and pull up results on how to build one.

Will, I just made the move to Houston and set up my 55g system last night. So far, so good. By the time you move down here I will be in my house in League City (south on I45), but if I can be of assistance please let me know.

No interest? Best offers? It will packed and loaded by noon tomorrow heading for Houston .

I have some anthellia that I would donate for the cause. I may find some other items to throw in. What sort of lighting do you have? Can your tank support SPS?
I am west of Elgin on 290. I am here this weekend and then will be moving to Houston. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Also, I will be breaking this aquarium down over the weekend and would love to have it sold and moved by Sunday. Otherwise i will pack it with me to Houston.
I would rather sell it to someone here in Austin than have to move it.

Thanks for the info on the skimmer Eric.
Here are some additional pictures of the aquarium:
Rough dimensions of the aquarium are 41" wide, actual in tank height is ~21" tall.
-
For sale: 65g flat back hex DAS aquarium with stand. - $300
All in one system, all equipment contained in the overflow box inside the tank. Non-drilled. Rio 2500 return pump. Skimmer brand is unknown, but it's the one that came with the aquarium. I plan to keep the light setup for use down the road, but it is basically a T5 retro kit.
The aquarium is currently still setup and running, but I am in the process of moving and will be transferring most of the livestock to Houston with me. (I will be putting a livestock for sale post later today or this evening.) I am planning on having the system broken down no sooner than this Saturday.
I will update the post once I get home for dimensions and additional pictures.
Here is one photo of it when I first set it up. The side glass pieces are set at 45 degrees, it's just hard to see in the picture.
Send a PM or an email with questions and I will get back with you as soon as I can.

I have added a few more pictures in the album that I linked above. The crypt plants were the easiest to get size comparisons to since they are closest to the glass. You can see the crypt plant in the photo with the anubias for reference. The sword is fairly large, but is not what it once was, but still has a good size to it.

I went through this same exercise about 2 weeks ago. Have you gone through the Continuity check on the harness?
http://www.icecapinc.com/downloads/cont_test.pdf
If you have done this and confirmed continuity then the ballast is to blame. Unfortunately the only 660 I have is in use.
I would be happy to answer any questions though.

I did see a few polyps peeking out last night, so I am feeling better about the situation.
-
I tried the hydrogen peroxide technique last night on a colony of AOGs that had not opened in probably a week. Hopefully whatever was messing with them will be remedied by the h202 dip.
